This was a wonderful place to stay. Everyone was so nice. We got to meet the owner and see some of the work being done to add a bar on the 3rd floor. There is also a restaurant next door that we could just walk to. We enjoyed listening to the music from across the cove after dinner. I highly recommend staying here.

The property was nice with a pool and it had dining right next door with live music. Staff was great, especially Rozz who greeted us and gave us a personal tour to our room!

Place looked like it was abandoned and they are only half finished repairing it. Heard construction right outside my room. Also a loud conversation between employees that sounded.like they qwre in different rooms. Same with a manager and one of the contractors. Overall, a terrible experience. Surprised that Wyndham is letting them use the name. Shoot, there isn't even any signage from the road.

Property charges about 30$ per day per parking, kayaking what we have never been used. Is not any information about this extra fee during the booking. Moreover I asked twice for blanket for my kids bed and I never got it. Nobody said sorry to us. That is not hotel or even resort!!! Needs deep cleaning and improvement. Breakfast was horrible. Stay away!!! Not worth it. Total 2 nights stayed cost us 800$.

The staff was nice. The view was nice. But the place is terrible. Nothing works, broken floors, rooms smell awful. How can this be a Wyandam property? They are “remodeling” but what they upgraded is cheaply done.

Property is a little tired.Sliding glass door, to screened porch, would not lock. Furniture needs to be updated. That being said, sunrise view absolutely spectacular!

The staff at Dove Creek were very friendly and welcoming! Rose was an absolute delight! She offered top notch service and even escorted us to our rooms. She provided us with everything we needed. Staying at a smaller boutique hotel was a very nice change. We had the pool to ourselves most days - it was very peaceful. The restaurant snappers next door had live music and great food. The rooms had great ocean views and had mini fridges and all the amenities needed. The property was well cared for. The breakfast offered was healthy and plentiful. We enjoyed the fruit and coffee and took some to-go for later. My daughter loved making the waffles and usually went back later for a toasted bagel. They had a lovely veranda so you could enjoy breakfast outside overlooking the water. We could use the microwaves and toasters at any time of day and the pool was always open for late night swims or hot tub use. We used the outdoor veranda by our room for wine time before dinner. We will stay here again!

Such a shame! I’ve stayed at this place two other times. I obviously went back because I enjoyed it, but after this last stay, I will not be back. It was very dirty, run down, broken items in the room. My suitcase became infested with 40 giant black ants that were coming in the room from under the baseboards ( no food in my suitcase). There were ants in the cereal in the morning and all over the counter. The staff left them there and didn’t bother to wipe them up or replace the cereal. The staff was very unfriendly and we felt like our presence was a burden to them. Not a hello or a good morning or acknowledgement of our presence in the breakfast room the entire stay. The ping pong table had an inch of dirt on it. The knob for the hot tub was broken, so the jets wouldn’t work. The breakfast was not stocked and replenished like it had been in the past. It’s really a shame, because they have a beautiful location. There is so much potential, however they are obviously going through some rough times with poor management.

Our room was lovely with a fantastic view of the ocean. Private balcony. Restaurant next door with very good food and great nightly music. Would definitely stay here again!

Great views, the pool was very nice as was the hot tub to relax in. There were no children running amuck when we were there. Staff were very friendly, and welcoming. Fresh fruit at breakfast time was a very nice touch. Cant wait to come back.

The only thing we didn’t like was the noisy fan in our room. We loved the size of our room and the outside areas. We will definitely stay here again. Minor criticism would be to have basic spices and dishcloths/towels in the kitchen area. Also your website states “daily housekeeping”. We were there 3 days and it never happened.

. There was no sign at the road or near the property stating the hotel name so I was not sure if I was at the right place until I finally found the office. The elevator did not work and had to find another one that did work. It was going to be chilly that night so I went to the office to ask for an additional blanket, but they told me I would have to come back in the morning. Some staff members were unfriendly and not helpful.The room was decent and clean but needing remodeled.

The room we were put in had mold damage in the room and the bathroom. The carpet was dingy and damaged. The night stand tops were bubbled up from water damage. Terrible room !!!!!!!

I did like the layout of the room we had with the screened in porch. Very unique with a big closet and comfortable bed. I loved the outdoor area with views of the water and places to sit in the sun or a hammock by the trees. The breakfast area was nice and you could sit out on the balcony and watch the sun glisten on the water while drinking coffee. We had problems with the elevator working and we saw older couples who really shouldn’t be doing the stairs. They needed the elevator but it wasn’t working. Also, when I sat at the table, I could look at the toaster and see a pile of breadcrumbs underneath it. Dot it needed to be cleaned. in our room, our shower had mildew spots in it, the living room couch smelled like urine, and the floor was slippery/sticky. It’s definitely an older property and needs to be kept up a little better. As far as the staff goes, one lady was very cheerful and helpful, and went above and beyond to meet our needs, but there was another set of workers that were on the rude side. Right next-door is a very good restaurant called snappers and we ate there a couple of the nights of our stay and we really enjoyed our meals!

I would NOT recommend staying here. We had no hot water the entire stay, only lukewarm water. They advertise that you get a discount at snappers, we were unable to get a discount. The ice machine was broke the entire stay. The room was dirty and to top it off we had a huge COCKROACH in our room when we came back one night.

Property is under construction. It seemed like they are trying to update rooms and common areas. Our room was very dated, chairs and carpet stained, but clean. The towels looked worse for wear and stained. The outdoor spaces are beautiful to take in the ocean. The hot tub was Lukewarm. . Staff was friendly and helpful. Booked through another company so they were unable to see a lot of our info. Didn’t like that we had to give them our info in writing. Expected more from a Wyndham but for the money and location it was alright. Again outdoor spaces are beautiful. Loved the upper lounge area.

This is my second time staying here and there was some construction going on. The staff did a great job of making sure it was quiet for the most part. I would still stay here after they finish the work. It is very convenient and the rooms are nice.

The view from our room was incredible but they definitely could take better care of their property/rooms/amenities. Needs a little TLC but our waterfront room had an awesome balcony overlooking the ocean.
