“Hospitality Perfected!”

Mr. Eden, long time owner, has obviously worked for years to establish a perfectly hospitable resort. If your desire is relaxation, in a supremely comfortable atmosphere, this IS the place! The clean, effecient rooms have no TVs, clocks, or radios- Hooray! There are shady hammocks, love-seat swings under gazebos, and an extremely inviting pool. The staff is friendly, polite, and attentive. The complimentary Happy Hour lasts, at least, 90 minutes and brings most of the hotel's guests together in an inviting atmosphere that can only be described as "easy-going ." The hotel is in convenient walking distance of all Key West attractions; our parked car (free!) sat idle for four days. There is an excellent restaurant next door. This exemplary hotel provides gourmet coffee, assorted sunblocks, but, most importantly, CHARM! Kudos to Mr. Eden; you have created the ultimate get-away!

Fantastic hotel! Great location and brilliant staff! We were given a welcome drink on check in and a happy hour (free!) each afternoon from 4-5pm! Will definitely return!

The staff was nice and helpful anytime we had a question. The atmosphere of th Eden House, welcomes the interaction of the guests all at the pool. All in all we had a great time, and do plan on making a yearly trip to Key West and the Eden House!

“My New Favorite Key West Hotel”

I'm certain that I've walked or driven right past Eden House on previous trips to Key West. If you've never been to Key West, you will find that it's not unusual to walk past a hotel without actually realizing that (1) it's a hotel; and (2) it's a great little hotel. That was the case with Eden House. My room was in the older part of the hotel, which is not meant as a disparagement. The room was exactly as it was advertised - nothing fancy, clean, and comfortable. Granted, I'd have preferred a softer bed and nicer sheets, but I am admittedly a sheet snob and bed firmness is a matter of personal taste. The room wasn't huge by any measure but since I was travelling alone, that wasn't an issue. If you want something with some closet space and a chest of drawers, you might want to ask about such things beforehand. The staff was quite pleasant, my room was always clean (which was done well after "normal" Key West waking hours), and someone is at the desk 24 hours, which is really nice if you're driving in from Miami or Fort Lauderdale after a late flight. Parking is an issue, though that's not unique to Eden House. It simply doesn't exist in any ready form or fashion in Key West. After driving around for over 45 minutes looking for a parking spot to claim for the duration of my stay (tip: if you find a parking spot, do NOT move from it unless you absolutely have to), I finally settled on the city's parking garage which, luckily, is relatively close by.

“Blocks from the Party!”

The Eden House was a very relaxing spot to be at considering how wild Duval street can get. It is like six blocks from where all the touristy spots in Key West are. The Eden House has a great pool patio area and although the rooms are small they are very quaint and clean. I had a great time and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

“Peaceful Haven”

A peaceful haven in Old Town Key West. Far enough away from the revelers to be quiet, but close enough to party if that's your desire. Helpful front desk staff, happy hour by the pool, hammocks, verandas, a library, and bikes to rent. Can't think of any negatives.

This hotel was everything expected and more. All the reviews I read were positive and my experience was the same. The rooms are very small, but adequate. Hotel was very clean and the staff were great. Staff were at the desk 24/7. Pool and hot tub were open 24 hours which was nice. Location allowed us to walk everywhere we needed to on the island. I would definitely stay there again.

Truly an enveloping oasis among hotels. We have never known such pleasant staff, so relaxing a hotel as Eden House, in all our travels. A must-stay place in Key West!
