This resort is outdated. Need extreme remodeling. Mold In the rooms, pool water is very dirty, shower heads are broken. Employees are rude and very disresctful. Cant do anything w/out being watched or questioned.

Our stay went well enough.

Posted Mar 9, 2014
Pros: There was a security fellow all night long and I didn't mind walking very early in the am.
Cons: The bathrooms !!
Location: WE went to see friends, not explore the area.
Expedia gave me misinformation. There were no coffee pot in the room and no microwave. It would have been a bit better if there a least was a coffee pot. They only have those items in the "effenciencies". It would have been nice if you gave me the truth. I was not expecting the Taj Majal for the price we paid.... but the bathroom could use an "upgrade". Badly! ! ! The beds had no bugs..a good thing.. but the plastic wrapped boxsprings and mattresses, were noisy. I understand the need for cleanliness and the room was clean. The view is what kept us there. A half millon dollar view. The resort area was great and the music at night didn't go to late and it was wonderfuf. Like i indicated.. the place was dumpy.. but I still enjoyed it.

Short stay is o.k.

The weather was superb. We hung out next to the Tiki Bar and watched the boats come and go at the dock while listening to some awesome live music. The hotel rooms are in need of some updating, but for one or two nights it is o.k.

For the price it looked more like a cheap motel

Posted Oct 22, 2013
Unpainted walls in the bathroom, food was OK but the room was like a motel room. Around the hotel it was dirty, it had trash, road was filled with sewer water. At the bar had to wait almost a half an hour to order food even when the bartender looked at me several times. Won't stay here again.

Very poor - would not use again or recommend

Posted Sep 20, 2013
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Almost everything - see above comments
Location: Key Largo - snorkelling / glass bottom boat / diving on John Pennecamp State Park coral reefs - excellent
Booked as the cheapest accommodation we could find near to Key Largo - very shoddy appearance - old fashioned window-fitted air conditioner so noisy as to prohibit sleep - decor very poor - flaking painted tiles in shower - mattress was a back breaker - needless to say we will not be visiting again, and would advise avoidance.

fine as a transit stop when visiting the Keys

Posted Nov 25, 2012
Pros: tiki bar and proximity to the water
Cons: Looked scruffy from outside
Location: Convenient
Fine as a hotel to stay over whilst in transit up or down the Keys. Room was clean inside, paint in the shower peeling off. Rooms looked poor from outside. Staff in the reception were very friendly. We had a good evening in the Tiki bar, excellent band, attentive staff and very good price. had breakfast on site, again friendly staff, basic but fine. Would certainly use it again for N overnight stop.

OK - not fab

Posted Mar 28, 2012
Pros: Bartender at Tiki Bar
Cons: Peeling paint in room, no light to switch on when you enered the room
Location: OK - not noisy and I was at the end closest to the highway
Not at all like pics on web - upkeep very poor. Not sure if it was staff or customers but was interrupted when talking to staff/trying to check out. Tiki staff and security were super. No hairdryer in the room - had to check one out at the desk. Private party at hotel when I arrived - very crowded, next day was better.
