Location: Cabana breezes, sparky's and key colony inn are all great. Also the mangrove kayak tour from captain hooks was great

Nice hotel right on the beachPosted Nov 23, 2013
This hotel has recently been redone and it is a great value. The view is assume for sun rises and the beach. Roxanne at the front desk went way above the call of duty to make sure everything was in order for our 2 night stay in a suite.

On the beachPosted Nov 23, 2013
Location: Located half way along Florida Keys everything is within easy driving distance, down to Key West or back up to Key Largo. Loads to do.
Great location for this hotel/motel. The rooms are all clean & fresh with fluffy white towels, great shower, comfy beds & good AC. If you have a little extra go for a sea view room, you can walk straight onto the beach. Somewhere to eat just next door & not too far from everything else. Would stay here again.

Nice hotel & great locationPosted Nov 20, 2013
Nice hotel in a great location! Very clean and the staff is very nice! Great small beach! Walking distance to restaurants. My only complaint is the bed wasn't as comfortable as I expected but overall it was a very relaxing weekend! I recommend this hotel and I plan on staying here again.

WOW - Best find in the Keys!!!Posted Nov 18, 2013
Pros: Non-chain personal touch with chain-quality features. RIGHT on the beach, white sand, blue water...perfect!
Location: Turtle Hospital tour, Cabana Breezes tiki bar next door, sports bar/marina down the street, visit Bahia Honda State Park.
I can't say enough good things about this hotel/resort. We chose our hotel based on price and beach access. We were so lucky to have chosen this place, because it far exceeded our expectations. It was newly renovated, super clean, SUPER friendly, and the beach and the pool area were wonderful. They have aqua sox, pool toys, and sand toys to use while you're there, and the beach is just beautiful with white sand and crystal clear water. The tiki bar next door, Cabana Breezes, has an agreement with them to deliver food and drinks to your room or to the pool, or you can go right over via 3 stepping stones and you are there! The food and drinks there were great and reasonably priced, so it was nothing to just walk over mid-swim for a fruity tropical drink! The location of the hotel mid-keys was also excellent. it was only an hour from the Florida mainlaind, and only an hour from Key West, the furthest down you can go. It was very near many of the fun places we visited, and there's a grocery store and a drug store right around the corner too. We can't say enough good things about this place, you'll have to check it out for yourself! We will DEFINITELY be back and won't consider staying anywhere but Glunz.

HAPPY CUSTOMERPosted Nov 8, 2013
Cons: Rooms need some rugs. Tile floors throughout - sand is an issue so understandable but a little cold.
The Glunz is a nice hotel right on a small beach, we didn't have a view from our room but a lot of them have a very nice view. Key Colony Beach is a very quiet little beach town and we loved it.... There is a wonderful coffee shop about a mile away with a delicious breakfast each day. The staff of the Glunz were very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again. The only downside was the 1 hr and 20 minute drive to Key West but the scenery along the road is incredible so the drive isn't terrible.

Great Place to RelaxPosted Nov 2, 2013
Pros: The hotel was very clean and neat. Also, the recent updates were very well done.
Cons: We saw nothing that need improvement. We couldn't find fault with anything!!!
Location: We love having dinner at the Sunset Grill near the 7-mile bridge. Marathon is a nice quiet place to stay when visiting Key West 50 miles away.
We were very pleased with our stay. Everyone was so pleasant and friendly. Great value for the service and amenities we had.

Great Location!Posted Oct 18, 2013
Pros: We liked the location -- off the main highway; on the beach.
Cons: Coffee/Tea cart in the lobby each morning would be nice.
Location: Fishing, boating, State Parks, shops and restaurants. The restaurant next to the hotel is very nice and the food is great.
We stayed for a week in October and had a great vacation. The beach was private and beauiful. The pool and spa were also nice, very refreshing, clean and well-kept. The hotel staff was exceptional and very accommodating. They made our stay a pleasant experience. We would go back and we highly recommend it!

Quiet and ConfortablePosted Sep 16, 2013
Pros: Its right on the sea, great views, Small but excellent room
Cons: There is no staff available from midnight to 8am
We satayed in the Gluntz for one night as a stopover on our way to Key West. The hotel is small (more of a motel but recently refurbished to an excellent standard) and is right on the sea. There is also a small pool and a gym. It may be too quiet for a longer stay. Food is available at a restaurant/bar next door which looks well but we did not use. it was ideal for our short visit needs.

This hotel was way better then I had expected! Crystal clear beach and great fishing pier! It had hammocks and a picnic area with grills. Rooms were updated and very clean. Staff was very nice. Everything you need is right here to enjoy a keys vacation. I would not stay anywhere else!
