Resort complex on a quiet key.

Posted Nov 14, 2014
Pros: Friendly and relaxed. Decent facilities and 2 pools including one reserved for adults. Also a secluded beach lagoon area.
Cons: Main building rooms are okay, but could use an update. No bath in my room, which was a shame. Have to pay full daily resort fee, whatever you do.
Location: Near Marathon which has a few bars and restaurants, and some handy stores.
Did a solo midweek stay for 3 days. Nice enough place and a good base to explore the area.

Shame about the rain

Posted Oct 26, 2014
Cons: Cannot think of anything
We had a lovely room with a patio then a deck with loungers. The facilities were well laid out with views out to the ocean. There were peaceful places to lounge around as well.

Stayed here last year......not as good this year

Posted Oct 26, 2014
Pros: Beautiful Duck Key, location is perfect, halfway down the keys
Cons: get the renovations done, and clean the place up a litttle
Location: one and half hour drive to Key West, 30 minutes to Bagia Honda State Park and beautiful beaches
Things have changed. The resort is very nice, but is undergoing renovations, so an entire wing was shut down, and it made for some loud noise during the day. The Town house we stayed in at the Sunset area did not have telephone or wi-fi access. They offered to move us to another town house, which was an upgrade, and the phone worked, but still no wi-fi for the 4 days vacation. They credited the ridiculous $29 + tax/day "resort fee, so that was nice. I remember the property being much nicer and better kept up last year, it seems to have been let go a little....common bathrooms, pool areas etc.

Thank you for sharing your guest perspective. We were glad to welcome you back to our beautiful resort, however we’re disappointed you were not fully impressed with your visit. It’s regrettable if you were inconvenienced in any way by our limited renovation work. We are performing some exciting refurbishments, and we think our guests will really enjoy them. We hope you might visit with us again.

Beautiful resort in the Keys

Posted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: Love the location, the feel and all kids play area.
Location: Located towards the middle of the Florida Keys, was a nice drive from the Fort Lauderdale area. Stopped in Key Largo on our way.
We booked for only one night but wondered why we weren't spending our entire vacation here. So much to offer for families. Great kids play area with programs through out the day. Excellent vacation environment.

One night getaway

Posted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: Amazing water pressure in the shower!
Cons: Provide cover from sun in the morning breakfast for the outdoor seating of Ocean restaurant. Increase outdoor seating.
Location: Didn't have time to check things out...was only there for one night and stayed in the resort.
Very nice room with Lanai, I was upgraded from ocean view King room upon arrival. Food was excellent at the outdoor grill. Salt water lagoon a nice feature, would have liked ocean access or some sort of beach...instead, we are closed in with boat canal. Firepit an amazing feature with very nice live music...not enough seating! Everybody wants to be there! The Ocean restaurant for breakfast is very loud...quite unbearable.
