private hotel with small but nice beach

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: Spacious rooms and secluded environment
Cons: Beach bar should stay open longer :)
Very secluded hotel with small but very nice beach and pier. Room with two beds was very roomy, indicative of an older style hotel. Great balcony overlooking the water. Staff was very helpful in arranging a snorkeling trip on our morning to leave and allowed a late check out to make it work. Pool setup was a little out of the way but the kids could care less and had a blast !!!

Relaxed; couldn't be nearer to the shore

Posted Apr 13, 2014
The building isn't beautiful - might have been designed by Stalin's architect. But it sits in palms and ferns right on the bay shore. The room on the bay side was very light and airy. At night you could hear the waves lapping the shore. The staff were thoughtful and attentive. Dinner in the restaurant gave us a great sunset and despite the no specific table reservation policy, they put a reserved sign on the table I made a fuss about. Thanks!

Hilton Hotels sure aren't what they used to be!

Posted Apr 9, 2014
Pros: mini suite was spacious, good beds.
Cons: Everything in the rooms and hotel looked dated.
Room was located on 4th floor. No refrigerator or microwave in room. Food and drink prices were high.

Good location

Posted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: Ocean front room!
Cons: Better cleaning
Hotel was one of the better ones for the area and in a good location. Relative to other places it wouldn't rate very high. The keys are a good experience but you have to lower your expectations for hotels and beach.

R&R vacation

Posted Apr 5, 2014
Pros: Adult pool without kids,Adult beach/hammock spot, price and the tree top bar/restaurant and the staff/front desk helped us on the beach....
Cons: Not so pricey beach bar,it's a food truck on the beach, not a chef!!
Location: Big chill,Great times!! Island Grill in Islandmorada,Great times as well!!
Our only regret about the stay was that we payed $45.00 for two burgers and two beers at the beach bar,we didn't find the tree top bar/restaurant until the last night of our stay.that night Tammy our bartender suggested appetizers and made the rest of our stay well worth it!!

Beautiful resort awful beds

Posted Apr 5, 2014
The staff and resort were beautiful. My wife and I had our honeymoon this week, and we absolutely enjoyed ourselves. The staff were very attentive, and delightful. However, the bed in our suite was very uncomfortable and not what we are accustomed to at hilton hotels. There were clear "divots" on each side of the bed. Usually we find the beds far more comfortable. Beyond the bed issue we genuinely enjoyed our stay.

Relaxing stay

Posted Apr 4, 2014
Pros: Being right on the beach is what we were looking for and this hotel had it all.
The hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. If you want a place to kick back and relax, this is it. You are right on the beach and they also have 2 pools….One for adults only and one for family.

over priced

Posted Apr 3, 2014
Pros: the room actually got cold
The food at the tree tops hotel was over priced and over cooked seafood. I will say as a positive that unlike other places we stayed in the keys the airconditioning actually did get cold. Nothing special.

cute hotel on the beach

Posted Apr 3, 2014
Pros: The beach was intimate and cute.
Cons: Where is the staff ? They need a new manager who can keep things humming properly.
Location: John Pennykamp park is close by. We did a wonderful snorkle tour from there.
The hotel looks nice with nice views from some rooms. nice and small , great for families. Staff was strangely inattentive and hard to find. Food at both the restaurant and the snack bar was overpriced and disappointing .
