Distance from Key West exactly what we wanted.

Posted Apr 25, 2015
Pros: Convenience and very quiet.
Cons: Hanger, etc. in bathroom for hanging garments while showering.
Location: Except for eating nearby, we spent day at Key Wesy-eating on way back .
We were guided by kingssail to excellent rest-Sunset Grill , nearby. Excellent choice.

This hotel is tired, rundown and old

Posted Apr 3, 2015
Pros: Check in girl was friendly and polite.
Cons: Really, the building is old and worn. It's past it's best before date. Tear it down and build a new building...
Location: It is about an hour to Key West.....
This hotel is an old tired rundown worn out old motel. The waterfront consists of the back of the motel facing a small canal. You would NEVER swim in it for sure. It has docking facilities for a couple of boats. Cracked dirty tiles and grouting on the floor, yet an overwhelming bleach smell in the room. Noisy air-conditioning, very limited parking. If you needed a one night stay, just for an overnight en route to somewhere else, it might do, but that is all. And WAY overpriced.... My room was about 6 feet from the dock.... At least it was quiet the night I was there...

Nice 1960's style.

We stayed 10 days. You must have a room with a screened porch for extended stay. We drove so we took extras like comfy folding chairs.

Motel

Posted Mar 29, 2015
We needed to stay one night in Marathon to attend a wedding and this motel served the purpose perfectly. I stayed in room 109, very clean, beds were quite comfy. Had a fridge and microwave. Had Xfinity T, so I was very happy overall.

Nice hotel (really more like a Motel) very clean,

Posted Mar 29, 2015
Pros: Clean, easy to find, staff very accommodating to our requests.
Cons: The quality of the coffee.
Location: Very close to is probably one of the best kept secrets in Marathon, Sombrero Beach. Beautiful.
Hotel staff, very accommodating. Motel very easy to find at night even when you are on your way back from Key West. No breakfast, only coffee, next to the docks, simple but nice with tables and chairs for everybody. I would go again anytime.
