I stayed at the Lighthouse Court once this Sept. and again this month. The location is excellent, the rooms are very clean, charming atmosphere. Food at the cafe was good. Parking can be tight, but once you park you never need your car again. Staff is friendly and rooms have all the basic needs and are private. Landscape outside and ambiance in the courtyard and around the pool is very nice.

“Wonderful surprise”

Nice and cosy room with a bed and breakfast feel. Centrally located and within a block of Duval St. Staff were courteous and the hotel was centrally located. Parking is 1st come 1st serve and they let you park there before the afternoon your checking if you get there early. Would stay there again if its on expedia's special list.

It was right across from the Hemingway Museum and within walking distance of Duval street shopping and all of the sights. Loved it.

“Simply Fantastic!”

This hotel is situated in the heart of Downtown, the popular Duval St., Mallory Square, Southernmost point and loads of restaurants are all walkable distance. It is just opposite the Hemingway Home and the staff is very courteous. Check-Ins and other formalities are easy and quick and waiting time is almost nil. I stayed there with my husband for the 4th of July weekend, 2011 and we were very happy with our stay. The staff at the reception also patiently explains all the popular tourist spot locations on a map and helps with logistics and other requests you might have.

“Great Hotel”

We had a great stay at the Lighthouse Court Hotel. It was conveniently located to all of the Old Town attractions. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see: Hemingway's House, the Lighthouse, Duvall Street, Mallory Square, etc. The staff at the hotel were friendly, informative, attentive and helpful. Our questions were answered in a friendly manner with attention to detail. Our room was beautiful. Great marble bathroom. Nice attention to detail.

This is an affordable, pretty historic hotel with lush gardens and very clean grounds and rooms to stay at in Key West. It's located closer to the southern end of the island across from the Ernest Hemingway House on block off Duval. So it's close to everything and still far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. I recommend calling about your room location. We were in the first room past the office, so it was kind of public. We still liked it though because the place was quiet and it really wasn't a big deal. I would like to stay somewhere more private next time. We had a King Deluxe, which was a really good size room. I think some of the Queens were really small. My only complaint about our room is that the bathroom was weird with a SUPER teeny shower stall and one small sink ... yet there was room for a huge vanity in there. Except for that it was a nice room and the bed was comfortable. They have their own cafe and bar right next to the pool with decent prices (drinks are a little high, but hey ... you don't have to go anywhere AND KW is already expensive). The pool looks at the Lighthouse ... so it's really a great little place. The staff are very helpful with taxis, bike rentals, and whatever items you may need. I definitely recommend it as one of the many great options on the island ...
