Cons: Buy some decent bath towels for guest.
Location: Near by there is bridge fishing, charters, and party boats in marinas a short drive away.
Staff was very nice. Nice outside area to view sunset. Nice outside balcony to relax on. Rooms are pretty basic and little outdated but comfortable. I like that some rooms have a basic kitchen to cook in especially when you have a cook in the group.. Its about 19 minute drive to get eating establishments but not too bad of a drive. Like most hotels in the Keys over priced but if you can get good deal I stay there again.

Nice room; clean and as advertised. Pool and grounds o.k. Continental breakfast could be better. Small breakfast area. It gets crowdy.....

One nighter

Posted Aug 15, 2014
The room was nice & clean but it was across the street and a few blocks down right on the highway and not in the resort section. Reception focused on all the rules of the property rather than a nice warm welcome when I checked in late that night. I was traveling alone for business and am 50 yrs old. Didn't need all the DONT'S. Otherwise a nice, quaint little place to stay right on the Bay. Very picturesque. I would stay there again.

Enjoying the Florida Keys

Posted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: Lovely location and setting directly on the Gulf of Mexcio.
Cons: The room needs a good scrubbing of the tiles, sinks and floors. The walls needs to be wiped down. Many thing were overlooked by housekeeping.
Location: Directly on the Gulf of Mexico, half way between John Pennekamp and Key West. All Florida water sports are available nearby. Next door to boat rentals
When visiting the keys I would not suggest staying indoors, because there is so much adventure, fun and beauty outside.I loved sitting on the porch of our room, which was a stone's throw from the Gulf of Mexico. It was beautiful by night or by day. There was a nice pool and BBQ areas just steps away too. Our room had a full kitchen so cooking would be a great option if you stay a while, but there are also many great waterside restaurants in the area. Our room was only OK, because it was not as clean as most hotels we have stayed in. I had to do some cleaning in the bathroom before use.

The Customer IS always right!

Pros: Our room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. The veranda was large and well appointed. The views from every window and balcony was spectacular!
Cons: Check the room for little changes that would bring you up a star or two: replacing missing utensils in the drawer, check loose bathroom safety bars.
Location: In the center of the Keys and close to just about everything!
OK, so the parking is lacking and there was some loose screws holding up the safety bar in the bathroom. Other than that the facility was lovely, well kept and felt very much like a slice of paradise. We checked-in early so that we could play all day and arrive later that evening. Staff thought that was fine but we were given a list of do's and don'ts that included parking, grills on the patio and pool open hours... Nothing I can nail down but I felt a bit like a bad child being scolded by an adult. I paid well for the right to stay in this hotel and my greeting was what I would be allowed to and NOT allowed to do while I was a "guest" in their facility. I will return to this hotel and look forward to staying again...But I hope that the attitude that all guests are potentially capable of behaving badly will be a thing of the past.

Extremly disappointed!

Posted Aug 2, 2014
Pros: Nothing! Rocky beach full of seaweed and oil floating from boats close by.
Cons: that rooms needs complete remodel to be called a hotel room
Location: we didn't stick around to check anything
When cheking in, staff seamed nervous I think because they new the room was not up to par as we requested a luxury suite. The room #129 had 2 beds, terrible old mattresses, noisy fan, dirty tiles in the bathroom, there was no sink in bathroom instead in the kitchen corner, there were only 2 body towels and 1 wash cloth. We had a deluxe water front room. When compared with pictures of rooms posted on their site, none looked like our room. We couldn't sleep all night and left first thing in the morning. Motels have better rooms. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, I would ask for my money back.

We are sorry you did not find your stay satisfactory. Our staff would not ever book a guest in a room that we did not feel 100% sure was great. The photos do represent the rooms (while the duvet covers might be changed the room layout is the same). We always give our guests a number to call if disappointed or if in need of anything in the room( extra towles ect..) . The bath room tiles are not dirty, they have been cleaned and may just be faded. The sink in this particular room is outside the bath room as in many hotels, and since there is no kitchen in that room I am not sure what you were referring to. We strive to make our guests happy and only when they notify us while staying can we accommodate them.
