“Great location but old, faded, and noisy.”
The grounds are very nice and there is plenty of space to eat a meal prepared in your kitchenette, enjoy a drink, and watch the sunset. However, when you go into the room, the disappointment begins. Although the room was so clean we could smell the cleaning products, the "island" decor is just very dated curtains and bedspreads. The mattresses were brand new and comfortable, but the sheets and pillowcases were old and mismatched. The kitchen is well equipped with mismatched dishes and chipped mugs. The bathroom was about the smallest I have ever seen in a hotel. There was so little space we had difficulty finding room for two suitcases. For the price, the room was comfortable but unattractive. Redecorating is needed!
Our real problem was the noise. The walls were so thin we could hear our neighbor snoring the first night. The second night we heard every word the college boys said until 1 a.m. There is no one on duty that late to call for help. We were so tired, we checked out the next day with no refund for the third night.
