Immaculately maintained, beautiful sitePosted Apr 24, 2015
Very tidy, clean, beautiful spot, well off the highway but easy to reach. Simple, welcoming, comfortable. Office closes early in the evening, try to get there before it closes.

Quiet place for privacyPosted Apr 19, 2015
Pros: Very quiet and clean
Cons: The decor is dated but we do not mind that
Location: Traveling the keys is a drive to any where, there is a great little breakfast place about 10 miles down the road and Bahia Honda state park.
We were traveling in the keys and booked 2 nights here. The staff were all very friendly. The entire resort was very laid back and quiet. We had an efficiency room which was perfect for us. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of places to enjoy a sunset.

Pretty setting but our room was uncomfortablePosted Apr 19, 2015
We stayed in the Kingfish room for two nights in April. The setting of the resort is very pretty. Right on the water with plenty of room to relax by the water on hammocks or Adirondack chairs. The pool is nice and pool towels are available when the office is open. Also enjoyed the morning yoga by the water. Breakfast was standard continental fare, but the fresh fruit was a nice touch. Our room was uncomfortably humid. The A/C kept the room cool, but we still felt sticky while in the room and noted that our towels did not dry overnight. Another oddity about the room was the presence of two locked doors that apparently led to an office on the other side. One of the doors is in the bathroom, which makes privacy a bit questionable. Also, we were awakened one morning at 6:30am by a light on the other side of the door. I might recommend the resort in general, but not the Kingfish room for these reasons.

Great Stress Reducer!Posted Apr 14, 2015
Pros: The sound of the wind rustling through the palm trees as I lay in the hammock gazing up at the stars reminded me how grand life can be......
Cons: To give a pampered feeling, they should consider leaving a small bottle of tropical/citrus body lotion in the bathroom...cost is negligible for reward
Location: We brought our own boat and explored the area: Dolphins, sea turtles, small shark, Rays were abundant.
Parmers gave us the opportunity to getaway from the rat race and unwind for a couple of days. The staff was SO accommodating and the grounds were immaculate. They even have a small boat ramp that was just big enough for our 16 ft. And dockage as well :) Can't wait for our return.

Would definitely come back again!Posted Apr 1, 2015
Spent a couple of days with my family which included my 7 and 9 year old sons. Resort is on the water with beautiful sun rises. The resort is well laid out and each building is unique. Rooms are clean and spacious. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Close to Key West and Bahia Honda State Park. We will definitely be back and will recommend this to anyone that is considering a visit to the keys.

Clean, Comfortable, Quiet, Relaxing, helpful staffPosted Mar 28, 2015
Pros: Clean, Comfortable, Quiet, nice continental breakfast.
Cons: The breakfast is only available until 10 am.
Location: There is a Tiki bar within walking distance, and a short drive to other restaurants and bars. Key west is a thirty minute drive to the south.
We were on a little getaway (The wife and I), and Palmers turned out to be the perfect place. It's quiet and relaxing. The rooms are small, but clean and maintained. There are small patios outside every room, very nice for relaxing. Also there are hammocks and Adirondack chairs on the water which we further enjoyed the quiet with some wine. It's about 30 min outside Key West. While it's away from all the busyiness of Key West, there are good places to eat and drink nearby.
