Not too Bad for KEY WEST

Posted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: NO PARKING
Cons: DECOR
Location: STATE PARK, ZACHARY TAYLOR
NO PARKING!! 25.00 A DAY IF ITS NOT FULL. FREE BREAKFAST WASNT BAD. COLD CEREALS AND FRUIT WITH BOILED EGGS. POOL AREA IS NICE. FREE BEER TICKET WHEN YOU CHECK IN. HALLWAYS ARE NOT UP TO DATE NOR ARE THE ROOMS. BED WAS PRETTY COMFORTABLE IN ROOM 212. IT WAS RIGHT NEXT TO THE STAIRS. GOOD LOCATION. WE LIVE IN FLORIDA AND HAVE BEEN TO SEVERAL B&B IN KEY WEST. WE PAID AROUND 120.00 A NIGHT FOR OFF SEASON, SEEMS LIKE A LOT FOR THE TYPE OF ROOM. BUT ITS WORTH IT THE KEY WEST EXPERIENCE. WI-FI CUT OUT ONCE IN AWHILE

Not worth the money.

Posted Aug 23, 2014
Not at all what we expected. Room was small and not worth the price. The only good thing about this place is the location. If you want to spend your money on a small room with an uncomfortable bed this place is for you.

Disgustingly Terrible!

Posted Aug 22, 2014
Not at all what was advertised on the website nor what we signed up for. The whole experience was awful as the cleaning was less than okay, most (not all) the staff was rude and the cost-cutting was exceptionally evident. An example, one of the staff members interrupted a question I was asking to help the person behind me for no apparent reason...after they made me wait awkwardly for them to finish whatever they were doing on the computer initially. We will never return and don't recommend this hotel to anyone!!!!!! There are plenty other hotels to choose from---choose them...you certainly couldn't get worse service!!!

Great hotel, great location

Posted Aug 22, 2014
Found this hotel on Expedia for a great price. Stayed one night during a quick trip to key west, but it's in a perfect location and was perfect for what we needed. Right near Duval street and within walking distance to everything. Would definitely recommend to friends!!

We stayed one night. The front dest staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The complementary chocolate and water were sweet. The location was good, near the south most point. Loved the stay and would definitely recommend.

perfect location, really relaxing and great.

Pros: Very clean, good service, great location. Lovely island feel.
Cons: Internet photos. This place looks better in person than the photos they put online.
Location: Close to everything, but you don't have the noise. and the Banana Cafe is right around the corner(great french food) moped rentals across the street.
Pearls Key West, is a very quaint. The rooms have everything you need, they supply free water bottles each day, and you even get what they call 'welcome drinks' for the bar. the bartender and staff are lovely people, they do everything they can for you. the facilities are quite nice as well, with two pools and a spa, and the pools are open 24/7 so you can go for a dip at midnight if your up for it! Or enjoy a great pinĂ¡ colada made by the best bartender ever, bar stays open till 10pm. Moped and car rentals right across the street. I'd suggest renting a moped as you can park for free anywhere, and its a really fun and cheap way to get around and see the island. You can go snorkeling at the fort beach, and the hotels front desk has a bunch of info on many more attractions and tours. Over all really great place, I'd stay here again!

Pearl's... "we'll be back..."

Posted Aug 14, 2014
Pros: Sitting under the frangipani tree, watching the moon dance through the branches, after a Duval Street crawl.
Location: It's Key West...what more needs to be said?
We were warmly greeted by staff, the restaurant food was exquisite and reasonably priced. The staff assisted us in booking tours, getting cabs and navigating Key West generally.

Quaint Hotel on United Street. Wonderful Staff...Ivy is the best. Try the Korean Restaurant on premises...it is some of the best food we ever ate. Clean pools and great maid service.
