Pros: Location and cleanliness.
Cons: Lots of things needed replaced like air conditioners, carpet, etc.
Location: Close to everything.
Room was just old and needed things replaced. It was however clean. No night stands by the bed and room was extremely small for the money.

Overall, not a bad place to stay.

Posted Jul 27, 2014
Pros: Walking distance to Duvall Street, but about a mile from Mallory Square. Rent a bike, the ride was fun!
Hotel is a little dated. The shower head was short even for me, I'm 5'2". Other than that, stay was great. Ivy at the check in desk was very helpful and friendly. The bartender was very friendly. Try the key lime punch! We wanted to rent bikes from Pearl's, but they were all rented. The lady in the office was very helpful and gave us the name of another rental place on the next block. I will definitely stay at Pearl's again!

From the moment we entered we had a very positive experience. Mae greeted us warmly & we enjoyed a fabulous welcome cocktail poolside as we awaited our room. The grounds were well layout & I appreciated the options of different spaces to relax in.

Old but Charming, Small rooms - NO PARKING

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Very generous with service, free water bottles, great food at bar, excellent pool and poolside bar. Great music at the pool.
Cons: Needs to update facility- too old. Needs to find a way for free parking. This was a major headache and greatly affected our overall experience. Pricey
Location: Near southernmost point, butterfly museum and old trolley stop. Use the old trolley to get around because parking is a nightmare.
Nice pool. Great food and staff. Building was older than I expected. Accommodations were not what I expected for the money we paid. It is a nice 3 star hotel but it is priced like a 5 star hotel. Clean but old. Things are not done the proper way but a descent way. There is a lot of charm in the pool and the outside area. There are three separate outside areas so you can have quiet or exciting or private - whatever you might be looking for. When the bar is open they have great service at the pool and the food is authentic Korean food which is different than normal places but it is excellent. The hotel has a NARROW staircase and the hallway is not air conditioned which I think matters in the summer. The room is simple and very very small. But they do work at making it look nice. They give lots of free water bottles which was very helpful in the summer. Good old fashioned service like chocolates on bed. You don't get individualized packets of soap, shampoo or conditioner, but they do have dispensers properly placed which means you actually have access to a descent amount. The main disappointment that really affected our stay was that there is no free parking. They only have 6 spots for the entire hotel and they cost $25 a day. You can park on the street for $2 an hour but you cannot pay ahead for the next day. If you weren't planning to get up at 8am you will have to if you park on the street because you will have to put in money in the meter to sleep in.

Nice hotel for the money. Pretty small. But we liked it. It's not a fancy resort if that's what you're looking for. Sheets were clean and felt nice, bathroom was good. Pillows were kind of uncomfortable and our mattress wasn't that great. Not too far of a walk to all the downtown action. I actually preferred being a little away from the noise. I'd definitely stay there again of I ever visited key west again.
