“Perfect for our stay”

We were staying just for one night and arrived later during the evening. We got to try the pool and it was relaxing after the drive. They have lounge chairs on their little "beach". It's nice to sit there and enjoy the ocean in the evening, but in order to swim, you have to jump from a pier. The rooms were clean, spacious and they had a large balcony which was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

“Nice Hotel/Good Views”

Was not sure what to expect as having never seen this hotel and only read reviews. Happened to be there on a Monday and therefore our room, which overlooked the lagoon and boat rental area, was luckily very quiet without a lot of activity. Very nice view. Front desk friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed facing the view was comfortable. Very low key which is exactly what we wanted. Grounds maintained and complementary drinks were given. Beautiful area within walking distance to several areas of interest. Would definately return to this hotel but try to get on the second floor next time for a better view. Would suit you well if looking for a quiet, nice, clean hotel with views.

“Pelican Cove is the place to stay”

Simply outstanding. Great place to relax and enjoy your vacation. If it had a restaurant on site it would be simply perfect.

“Loved the hotel, hated the weather”

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this hotel. Any negative reviews must be from people unhappy with live in general. Unfortunately, it rained everyday we were there. I can't imagine how much I would have liked it if were able to utilize beautiful beach, ocean, and pool. There is a boat rental facility onsite, and everyday we said, "tomorrow", and then. . . .rain. We were able to walk to Theater of the Sea and several nice restaurants and bars. I would love to go back, on a sunny, warm day!

“Great Place To Stay”

This was my first trip to the Florida Keys and I really did not know where to stay. Pelican Cove turned out to be just great. The room was large with a big refrigerator and I loved having a large private balcony overlooking the ocean. The staff members were all great and helped with suggestions and directions on places to eat and things to do. The private beach and pool were very nice and relaxing. I would recommend Pelican Cove to anyone. It is a good value for the price. Clean, neat, and a great location.

“Excellent Views of the Ocean”

Excellent views of the Ocean from the top floor overlooking the pool. This does cost a little more but worth it. Avoid the room at the end of the building with side facing room. Breakfast is included but is basic.

“Nice place”

This is an older motel complex and could use some updating, but it is very clean and the staff was very knowledgeable about the area. The rooms are situated so that almost every room has a nice view of the ocean. I would go there again.

“Great place to stay”

Very nice place... clean, kept, beautiful. 100 yards to the world famous Tiki Bar. Only complaint is a finicky shower with two settings: scald & hypothermia.
