I was pleasantly surprised with the Pines and Palms resort. We stayed in a beauitful one bedroom cottage that was nice and spacious and the surrounding area was amazing! We were so close to the Islamorada Fish House and other bars. It was nice to have a seperate living room and bedroom and was very cute. The perfect keys place. If you are looking for a hotel, this is the wrong place. If you are looking for your own cute cottage and having the "keys atmosphere" book here! The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. I'm coming back very soon.

“A second home in the Keys”

This motel was what I expected after researching it on Expedia. It is located on Islamorada, one of the middle keys and was within in easy driving distance of the state and national parks that we wanted to visit. The view of the Atlantic ocean was gorgeous. The kitchenette we stayed in was spotless and everything was in working order. I recomend this location as a nice quiet place to stay while exploring the Keys.

“Special stay”

This is for couples that would like to try something different than the big resort hotels. Totaly relaxing and special. Would only stay at one of the ocean FRONT cabins - not the oceanview. Cabins #6 an #7 preferably. We stayed in Cabin 6 and had a wonderful oceanfront view with sea breezes coming in thru the window all day and night - never turned on the a/c. The grounds are beautifully maintained. Be aware there is no swimming here. However Bahia Honda Park is not that far and provides swimming, snorkeling and kayaking. Also would recommend the restaurant Marker 88.

“Home Away From Home”

Absolutely lovely experience! The grounds are superb! Beautifully kept and incredibly homey! Our room was cozy & fresh. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. The bathroom is small but who cares???? You're in The Keys! Hopefully you're not spending a lot of time in the bathroom! The bed was mostly comfy but had some very squeaky springs! Woke my husband each morning when I got up to watch the sunrise but he quickly fell back to sleep! Nothing like watching the sunrise from the Adirondack chairs on the dock or swaying in the hammock below the palms. Felt like home away from home - but better! Can't wait to go back - hopefully someday VERY soon! We stayed in a Hampton Inn suite at the airport on the way home. Fancy. But my husband said exactly what I felt: "This is really nice but I'd rather be at the Pines & Palms."

“Can't wait to go back”

Stopped here on our way to The Keys really enjoyed the comfort, the views and the peacefulness so rather than stopping at The Keys for a night decided to stay another night at The Pines and Palms. The staff are very friendly and helpful, made our stay really enjoyable and we will definitely be returning to this wonderful place.

“This is the spot to conch-out.”

We have stayed in at least 15 places in the Keys and Pines and Palms is our first choice in Islamorada. It is spotless, cozy, friendly and perfectly located. If you want a cute cottage with a fabulous ocean view, close to good restaurants, where you can relax and conch-out, there is none better. They will deliver a grill, spotless, to your door everyday if you want to cook. There are several pots of coffee to make in the morning, not the usual one. The pool is heated. The beds and linens perfect. Don't hesitate. This is the spot.

“Above and beyond the call of duty”

Very warm, friendly staff-- It was my husband's birthday and there weren't any real grocery stores nearby and the bartender suggested that she would go to the store near her house and bring me back a keylime pie the next day to surprise him.

“Pines and Palms Resort”

Beautiful location on the Atlantic side of Islamorada. Nice restaurants and bars nearby, some within walking distance. Quiet and friendly. The individual cabins are in reasonably good shape, although not the newest of accommodation and provided everything we needed for our stay.

“Really good option”

This is not a five star kind of place, but ,for the kind of place it is, they do a lovely job. They were kind, helpful and flexible, everything was clean and it was just a 'normal" kind of place in the Keys, which can veer tacky . It was nice to have a kitchen, I kind of screwed up with two big kids along and got a cottage with just one big room, but it was classy and comfortable and they could not have been more helpful. Islamorada is a good distance away from Key West madness, we dipped into that and came back. Nice job, thank you.

“Two night stay”

Two night stay. Occupied one of the Ocean View suites. Very spacious with large lounge/diner + TV, bathroom and bedroom with king size bed + TV. Kitchen equipped with full size cooker and fridge/freezer. Basic cooking utensils and crockery provided. Small balcony in front of the suite which is on first floor level with car parking below. Balconies are not private because they also provide the access to adjacent suites. The resort is rather quaint and old fashioned with a mixture of these suites and a small number of beach bungalows/cabins but well maintained and clean. Small swimming pool and very small guest's bar adjacent to the water. Man made beach with loungers. Wooden jetty from which to fish or moor boats. Very helpful staff
