Cozy Hideaway

Posted Sep 25, 2014
Pros: Clean, quite and superior staff
Cons: Might want to raise the beds in 19
Location: Ambrosia is the best sushi in Key West and at your front door. Most attractions are within walking distance.
Conveniently located away from all the excitement of Duval, yet close to many attractions and restaurants within walking distance.

Quiet Hotel Close To Duval Street

Posted Sep 6, 2014
Pros: Complimentary smoothies and ice-creams from 11am to 5pm which keeps the kids happy if you stay in for the day. Also muffins for each guest
Cons: More plates and dishes. Better description on bedding facilities / layout.
Location: Beach close by - lots of seaweed, it smelt, was not appealing - stick to the hotel pool!! Duval Street is a street away, and you're at the quiet end
This is a nice quite hotel close to Duval Street. The apartment style rooms make it easy for coming and going and the pool is just outside your room. Our room had a kitchen, and though we were told you do not need a car, it is necessary when you need to get the groceries in - should you be staying a while. That said, that was the only time we did need to use our vehicle. We had a room for five, which turned out to be a double room, a twin room, and a sofa bed in the dining / living area which was not ideal. When it came to the kitchen supplies we found we had enough crockery for 5 people for one sitting only. The rooms really are for 4 people max. The balconies are nice but open and unscreened so you need to be aware if you suffer from insect bites - other locations in Florida we go to are screened. No mention of this was made in the booking information.

The roomiest suite I have ever stayed in!!

Posted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Location: One block off of Duval St. Everything is nearby. I walked everywhere the whole visit. Literally; I did not start up the car once.
This was such a nice suite! Stay here if you possibly can. You can read the others about all the details.

Beautiful hotel

Posted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: Suite was family friendly and luxurious at the same time
Cons: Nothing
Location: Duval St Sunset pier to watch the sunset with amazing entertainment
We had an amazing stay at Santa Maria, with our 3 children. A beautiful hotel, we stayed in a bi-level suite, plenty of room for us all, great kitchen facilities and really handy to have a washer/dryer. Staff were all friendly, kids loved the free Popsicles, muffins and ice cream. The free wine at happy hour was a bonus too!! The hotel was in a good location, walking distance from Duval St. We would definitely return

Great suite hotel on Key West

Posted Aug 31, 2014
Just had 6 great days there and would highly recommend. Small complex with well appointed suites. Nicely furnished with up to date kitchen & bathrooms and lovely comfortable beds. There is a resort fee for each night but that covers all sorts of extras like poolside towels, smoothies, fresh fruit, nightly chocolates & muffins and free wifi so well worth it. The staff there are lovely and the location is great as it is just a short stroll to lots of shops, restaurants & museums but it is blissfully quiet.

Modern style and walkable to everything!

Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Modern amenities, nice pool, cleanliness, well appointed Kit. w/ ample counter space, SS appl., smoothies, service, nightly turn down
Cons: The only real con for us was the BR-pretty but not user friendly. There was very limited counter space for toiletries & shower was too narrow.
Location: Butterfly museum is right around the corner, the shipwreck museum was small but fun, the restaurants & shopping were great, and we went parasailing!
We really enjoyed our time in Key West and our stay at Santa Maria. Overall we give this hotel a thumbs up for the amenities, nice pool, cleanliness, well appointed kitchen w/ ample counter space, Stainless Steel DW, Refrigerator & freezer drawers, and having a washer/ dryer in the unit was key for our family. The service was very good too. The staff were friendly, knowledgable of the area, and helpful. We enjoyed the free poolside smoothies as it was 90 degrees the whole week, free muffins & chocolates, and frozen Dove bars at night.

Kids love this hotel

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Complimentary beverages and room cleaniness.
Cons: The girl at the front desk didn't give us much information, you had to ask to find out.
Location: Southernmost point
There are complimentary Dove ice cream bars, chocolates in your room, free smoothies and beverages at the poolside, my kids love it. The Southernmost point and beach is 5 min walk from the hotel. The room is very comfy,

Overall best hotel I've ever stayed at.

Posted Aug 15, 2014
Not only is this place beautiful , its thoughtful. They have everything from free smoothies and muffins, to a washing machine, big beautiful bathrooms and the cleanest suites imaginable. It feels like a house. A million dollar house. In the winter they are almost sold out selling at up to $1000! But we came in late August and got our suite for $250. You can't find a deal better than this. You won't believe me until you check this place out. Its like paradise
