“Great Family Friendly Hotel”
We live in South Florida so this was just a one-night Saturday stay with my parents, husband, and 20-month old toddler. The room was clean and as for layout there was a separate bedroom, large walk-through bathroom, kitchen/dining area and living room. The 'door' separating the BR from the LR wasn't a solid door, though, just a sliding slatted panel door so if you're looking to gain some 'privacy' with separate rooms this won't cut it.
As for sleeping, my husband and I slept on the L-sofa which was comfortable and long enough. We didn't even take out the pull-out sofa bed, and I'm 5'1" and my husband is 6'2" (you curl your legs a little). The room had extra pillows and a comforter in the closet, but not extra sheets so request that from guest services if you feel you need it. We brought our own pack-n-play for our toddler, but most hotels provide them as well - just ask. There was a small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. And, there was no tub, just a shower, so our toddler showered with daddy - the floor was a little slippery since it was marble, but he did well.
You have to sign up downstairs to take the free shuttle into town. But, we ended up driving ourselves to downtown, and even during January (busy time) it was easy to find parking and it was a short drive. Worked out better, too, cause my mom's arthritis keeps her from walking a lot and we ended up driving a little bit rather than walking to see the sights.
