“Wonderful hotel in the perfect location!”

We stayed at several hotels in the Keys and itwas by far the best one. Friendliest staff, GREAT pools, great beach access and use of lounge chairs, loved the southernmost cafe, and LOVED the location of the hotel. We will definitely always stay here when we return.

“Pleasant Surprise”

The online pictures made me doubt the class and quality of the hotel, however I was nicely surprised to find the building and staff not only clean, friendly and nice, but helpful and relaxing! The poolside Tiki Bar is great and not crowded, and having beach access is a definite plus. The location is key. Located on southern Duval Street puts you right next to all of the action (a one or two block walk to the nearest bars/restaurants) but just far enough to be able to escape to a quiet room, perfect for having a good time!

“Lovely hotel”

Excellent hotel on Duval street. It is at the quiet end of this popular street (about a mile to the other end where sunset is) and has a lovely restaurant on the beach. Rooms were all clean, large and ours came with a large fridge and microwave.

Great value! Service was super. A.J. at the front desk was very helpful. Nice, clean rooms. Even warm during the cold spell in Key West. Excellent location near the beach, butterfly exhibit and Hemmingway's house. Resteraunt had very good breakfast food for a reasonable price (considering Key West location) with great service. We will return to this hotel soon.

The cleaning staff sometimes didn't get the room in order until late in the day but otherwise EVERYTHING was great, The staff was very personable, friendly, and helpful. The pool, beach areas, hammocks, tanning pier, all was neat, clean, well kept, would definitely do this again!

Great location for family close to the fun but far enough away that you you can have both.

“Beautiful location”

The Southmost was a lovely hotel. We stayed in one of their lower priced rooms, but it was still very clean and beautiful. The staff was extremely helpful, especially when we requested a change from an upstairs room to ground level. The location is close to many activities, and a quick ride to everything else. Very comfortable.

The hotel is very well kept and very clean with 3 pool areas. The Southernmost cafe has excellent food and is not overpriced for a place on the beach. Be aware that this hotel is on the quieter end of Duval Street with a 1.8 mile walk to the harbour at the other end. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Even though it was a good walk into the old town I would stay here again.

“Looking forward to staying here next year”

Our first visit to Key West for our anniversary, we stayed in a second floor room just above the pool & tiki bar. Nice clean room, once we closed the door we heard none of the noise from the bar (and they did play music pretty loud at times). Beautiful views from their open air restaurant that is right on the little beach. Pretty long walk up Duval St but there are alot of places to stop and shop on the way to Mallory Square. If you don't like to walk, there was a scooter and electric car rental store right across the street. Free parking at the hotel, don't bother driving your car up Duval, no parking to be found unless you use a public lot ($15/day). We'll stay here again when we come back, the place is a great value and great location for us.
