“What a great and wonderful vacation destination.”

My wife and I had a wonderful time in Key West. The only thing which I can say that was bad was the time there was too short. We didn't want to leave. I one thing that stands out was our hotel accomodations. Sunrise Suites was excellent in all aspects. We would highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return.

The reviews for Sunrise Suites were mixed, so I was not sure what we would find, but we had five folks with different needs and the condo approach (plus the internet sale price!) seemed like a great option -- and we needed to be in the area for two nights, so we took a chance and I was very pleased! Sunrise Suites was clean and well-set up. Not fancy, but comfy and nice, with friendly staff people who were more than willing to help me figure out the public transportation options. Internet did not work from the room but it seemed like they might have been working on that. I found the SS condo set-up was the perfect way for a group to travel and I would definitely plan to return -- if I can get the internet discount again! “Wonderful place to stay.”

Located on the quiet side of Key West. A great place to stay. Very clean and furnished with everything you need and more. I was very pleased and look forward to staying there again.

Only spent 2 nights but wish we could have stayed 2 weeks. Although some earlier reviews made us skeptical, we could not have been more pleased. Key West lodging is very expensive-especially the closer you get to Old Town. We found Sunrise to be a great bargain but we were splitting the cost with another couple. Although Sunrise is a bit of a distance from downtown,there is a city bus stop within a 5 minute walk of the property that worked very well-only 2.00 each way. Also used a cab-4.50 per person to or from downtown. Parking downtown is definitely a hassle although there is some free parking at the beach if you get there early. The unit itself was very clean with modern appliances and plenty of utensils. Although we did not cook at all, we certainly would had we stayed longer. TV's in each room and both master bath and 2nd full bath were very clean. The pool area seemed very nice although we did not use it. Plenty of lounge chairs available. There is a deli within easy walking distance that had just about anything needed for a short stay. For longer stays there is a shopping center a short drive away.

“Excellent Value!”

After reading some of the reviews for the Sunrise Suites Resort we have been a bit hesitant about renting a suite here in the past, but ended up taking a last minute weekend trip down to Key West and wanted to keep within a budget that only this hotel would meet. With low expectations, but high hopes, we headed South Friday night and were surprisingly met with a very clean and comfortable suite. I would recommend it to anyone as an excellent value considering comparable 2 room suites in Key West go for at least twice the price. The beds, furniture, and general condition of our suite and building were well maintained. It has a small but nice pool area as well. Parking may be an issue during busier seasons though. The one con for us is that it's not in Old Town, but for the amount of money you save we have no issues paying for parking or cabs back and forth.

The hotel was a great two (2) bedroom condo with two (2) bathrooms. Located on the quiet side of Key West. Great value compared to other hotels/resorts on Key West. Five people fit nicely in this condo.

The hotel was everything that you could want or need in a stay at the best place on earth. nice pool area, good clean rooms, pretty views. the airport is not a bother, and it's far enough from to Duval street to avoid the bar scene, if that's what you want. It was excellent value for the money.
