“The Inn at Key West is a hiden treasure!”
Could not have been more pleased. Having spent more than twice per night to stay in and around Duval Street in the last several years and not be nearly as satisfied, the Inn at Key West is our "new" Key West spot to stay. Used taxis to get downtown and back. Never took more than 3 to 5 minutes to get picked up by the Five 6's taxi company. Also highly recommend the Western Union sunset cruise.
“Barbara”
Enjoyed this very nice hotel. Family owned and managed. nice upgrades. lovely pool, jacquizzi bar and restraunt. friendly staff. A self contained resort type hotel located on the north side of key west surrounded by car dealerships, strip malls. Really once settled you dont have to go anywhere but still convenaintly located to get to tourist attractions and duvall street. concierge services very helpful for all local activities.
“"A gem of a pool and a luxurious garden"”
The best pool ever!! Extremely relaxing and beautiful, the gardens are luxurious and very well maintained. Staff very gracious, concierge very helpful to book activities (the sunset cruise was great!). The room was comfortable, the air conditioning quite noisy though. It is a little far from downtown Key West where the action is, and either parking or taxi is not cheap, but on the other hand it was very quiet at night and we could get a nice rest. Free internet is great, however the wireless doesn't really work (the ethernet cable does). Overall a great experience.
“Quite Nice”
Pros: Just outside the main tourist area, beautiful pool, great waitstaff at the Cafe-- the french toast made with cuban bread is ~fabulous~! Rooms are comfortable and nicely appointed. IHOP next door. Great value for the money. Cons: No elevator, some rooms are set up like a motel with outside entry, nightstand lamps are not fitted with proper lampshades which result in an exposed bare lightbulb glaring in your eyes, limited number of electrical outlets and not conveniently located for those with multiple electronic devices. No shuttle to the tourist areas and the trolley/train station is not within walking distance.
“Loved hotel, pool and service, Maid Service Bad!!”
This is a decent hotel. The pool and hot tub area were tropical and beautiful. Nice size and spayed down frequently. Fresh pool towels kept up. Bar was nice. Their cafe is okay but limited choices. Sits next to mall, theater and IHOP. About two or three miles from Mallory Square Duval Street where all the action is. But we knew that--had a car--free parking at the Inn. Concierge is good and front desk was helpful. But maid service leaves much to be desired. Floors were dirty and did not vacuum. Bathroom floor not clean. Did not replenish anything but towels on the one day ourt of our 4 night stay that we asked the room to be cleaned. Ran out of tissues and toilet paper, shampoo, etc. We left a nice tip, too. We try to be good guests and are frugal about towels, etc.
“THIS IS A 5 NOT A 2 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
This place is great, extremely well kept. The most beautiful pool and area ever. Clean room and nicely done. Breakfast was terrific but not free. Parking at our door was no problem. A ways away from all the attractions of Key West but you can always drive to them. Findind parking at local sites can take some doing but I guess you can always stay by Duval Street attractions if you really want to pay for it. Parking is usually free downtown if you have a Handicap sticker (something that is not well advertised or posted. I really don't understand the "2" rating. I have to give this place a "5".
“great hotel”
This is a great hotel. Upon arrival, was told we would be upgraded to a king suite, and they did it the next day. They even moved our luggage for us! The pool here is gorgeous, quiet, and very relaxing. By far the best pool on the island. The pool bar is nice, but only serves food till 6pm. my recommendation is that they serve food there until 9pm. Beds extremely comfortable, rooms clean, NO BUGS SEEN! Conceirge was very helpful to us in planning all of our excursions. RENT SCOOTERS! its the best and cheapes way around the island. Parking is hard, scooters and bikes can park for free virtually anywhere. Thank you to Pia, Tim, Caren, and all the staff there at the inn... they really made us feel welcome and at home. We sailed on the "western union" sunset sailboat. a must do! Also go to the: "pelican poop shoppe", it's a great souvenir shop :) --hope you all enjoy your stay here like i did. :)
“Looking forward to returning to the hotel and Key West.”
We will definitely be coming back to Key West and staying at the Inn at Key West. The rooms were clean, the beds VERY comfortable, the pool was unbelievable and the ammenities were exceptional.
“Nice pool!”
We enjoyed being off the beaten path from Duval street. The pool was very nice we really enjoyed it. We felt very comfortable in our room.
“I would have no problem going back!”
Everything went very well. Our room was ready when we got there, everything was clean. Staff was very friendly and willing to do whatever we asked. A few things to know though...... When the Restaurant menu says "Continental breakfast," it doesnt mean its free. I had to pay $6 for a little muffin and glass of milk. On top of that, the lady at the restaurant was VERY rude. Also, the hotel is a short cab ride from anything. It will cost you $13 each way to get a cab. Those were the only things I had a problem with. Everything else was very nice!!!
