Over priced motel (even if on steroids)

Posted Apr 12, 2014
If this place were priced say £120 - £150 then okay. But at £200+ then not good. Lovely pool. Motel type rooms. Location poor.

Nice hotel for an extended stay if you like a pool

Posted Apr 10, 2014
Pros: Pool and Bar
Cons: More amenities
Location: IHOP and a Publix grocery store next door.
We arrived and was greated by a well rehearsed staff. Be prepared to pay for everything except water. Its a very nice hotel with an outstanding pool and bar, but the room and amenities are not worth the price you pay. We have stayed in many a hotel accross the united states and have paid less for a whole lot more. If you ask for an extended time to check out, be prepared. The first hour is free, then $50.00 the next hour and $75.00 the hour after that. Nickel and dime ya!! Like I stated for the money you pay for this hotel, you would think you would get more. Not even a cup of coffee in the morning. The pool and bar are definitely the best benefit to this stay. I guess on the up side, there is an IHOP next door with a great wait staff and fast service, plus the food was great. One more thing, you are away from everything so plan to either take a cab or fight the traffic to get to everything if you drive.

Nice hotel not far downtown

Posted Apr 5, 2014
Pros: I liked that it was not too large and it was easy to get around. Our room was steps away from cafe and pool and lobby.
Cons: Shuttle service would be a plus as well as the cafe hours being extended in the evening.
Location: The beaches are close by and the trolley tour does pick you up at the hotel.
We had a wonderful time at this hotel. Our room overlooked the pool as requested and we were upgraded to a king room. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Our requests were met with prompt attention. You will need a car to get to the downtown but this was not a problem for us. Hotel parking is free and it was nice to have the freedom of having a car to go out whenever we wanted. The pool is beautiful and there is a cafe where we had breakfast every morning. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Great pool and landscaping.

Posted Apr 4, 2014
Pros: The staff is very friendly and helpful. Tropical atmosphere and nice landscaping. They serve a full breakfast at the hotel.
Location: It is about a $15 cab ride from here to the downtown Duval St and Mallory Square area, which is where most people go.
I've stayed here for the last six years in a row and have strongly recommended it to friends and family. I think it has a romantic atmosphere to it. Unfortunately this time we experienced a malfunctioning air conditioner. The temperature was ok but you couldn't tun the fan up or down or even off. It was apparently running on "fan" on high and was so noisy that my Dad had to sleep with a pillow over his head!

Inn at Key West

Posted Apr 1, 2014
Taxi every where. Adds greatly to expense as the facility does not provide a shuttle to from airport or even Old Town. The wait staff in the dining area is greatly understaffed and poorly trained/or supervised. Basics like napkins, silverware, coffee. eludes them. No one buses tables. No foresight to recognize that cushions should be brought in out of the rain. Night staff responsible. Concierge helpful. Pool is very nice as are the bartenders.

Nice hotel just off the highway

Posted Mar 29, 2014
Pros: The hotel is perfect for people wanting to enjoy Key West during the day and be able to sleep at night.
Cons: Unfortunately, there is no sunset view from the hotel.
Location: Just a few minutes from the airport and the seaplane service.
The pool is absolutely beautiful and very private. The cafe served great food at reasonable prices. Even though the hotel is not in Old Town, the concierge gave us very good advice on where to park in Old Town for our walking tour.
