Classic old-style Florida

The Moorings is expensive but you pay for an oasis of tranquility. Cheeca Lodge just next door is also good but much busier and louder. If you like to stay fit by swimming The Moorings is just about perfect. It's very photogenic with a classic half-collapsed palm tree leaning over the sea practically everyone poses on. Fishing from the pier is possible and the staff are very friendly. Room servicing is by request. Beds and linen are Four Seasons comfort standard. Highly recommended.

It surpassed our expectations. Very secluded like being in the islands . Staff was extremely helpful and went above the norm.

Best vacation I have ever been on.

Pros: Everything. The grounds are beautiful, friendly staff, its just great.
Cons: I honestly have nothing negative to say.
Location: Boat trips, restaurants, diving, bars, there are plenty of things to do. We ran out of time well before we ran out of things to do.
I did my research before picking The Moorings Village as my spot in the Keys and it paid off. This was by far one of the most relaxing vacations I have ever taken. The scenery is absolutely incredible. Everything is clean; from the rooms to the grounds, the staff are so helpful and very friendly. There are plenty of stores and restaurants close by. If you are looking to relax and lay on a pristine beach with amazing views, then this is your spot. Its almost surreal. I would highly recommend the Moorings to anyone. It was worth every penny. -Todd
