Close to downtown.

Location: With in walking distance to downtown Key West.
We enjoyed our stay and the hotel only due to its location.

Average Hotel, the room was small for 2 double bed

Arranged for late check-in (very simple system), the problem was the surroundings, there is a graveyard behind the hotel, and some shady people in the streets.

Nice little hotel

Posted Aug 3, 2013
We stayed here for only two nights, the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was small but very clean. We were there to see Key West and not the hotel so it was perfect for us. The price was reasonable compared to others.

Great for a few days

Posted Jul 27, 2013
Pros: Clean & good location.
Cons: On-street parking
Location: Convenient
Small but clean & comfortable. The pool is OK & clean. Parking on on-street and might be an issue. The main town centre and night-life is walk-able. Great for a few days

Great price and location, not great rooms.

If you need a dark, quiet room to sleep, The Palms won't work for you. It's an older motel/BNB style with thin walls. The unfortunate frost glass doors, while pretty, let in all the light from the security lights at night. The window unit AC was noisy and ran constantly, despite us having it set pretty high. The rooms are tiny and lack amenities such as coffeemakers and hairdryers unless you know to ask for them at the front desk. If you are looking for a resort style experience, I can't recommend The Palms. However, if you only need an affordable place to crash that's near Duval Street, this will serve you nicely. Best thing about it: you can rent bikes at the front desk. Very affordable and the best way to get around the island.

Friendly Hotel

Posted Jul 3, 2013
Pros: The very friendly atmosphere.
Location: The location was a bit far from Duval street, but the walk was worth it.
We were warmly welcomed to the hotel, check took seconds, the room was very clean and comfortable.
