Too expensive but nice hotel

Posted Jan 27, 2015
We paid for a standard room facing the courtyard which turned out to be the garage. The room was big and had everything you want like a refrig etc. we thought the price of the food at the restaurant in the hotel was outrageous and only ate there once. Staff were great! Lots of restaurants within walking distance.

Nice hotel close to the beach and to Duvall Street

Posted Jan 27, 2015
Pros: I liked the location of the hotel.
Location: Location is very close the southern most point attraction and is close to the south end of Duvall Street. Very quiet at night.
The hotel was nice, the rooms were your basic rooms. They do have a balcony with all rooms and with most rooms you can see the water. Staff was pleasant.

Perfect location and great room

Posted Jan 26, 2015
Pros: on the water, great spacious rooms, clean
This hotel was much more reasonably priced than the other comparable hotels in the area. We got a suite for quite a bit less than what other hotels were offering their standard rooms for. Would definitely recommend it.

great location

Posted Jan 25, 2015
Pros: upscale resort and location
Cons: reasonable drink prices
Location: within walking distance of everything or inexpensive cab ride to Mallory Square.
located on the quitter section of town but within walking distance of everything. nice beach and pool area. Access to sister resort Casa Marina was a plus. Better pool and dinning area at CM but beach is better at the Reach. Enough water sports activity to keep you moving at a reasonable price for a Waldorf resort. If you can afford the prices I would recommend this resort. ie...$65 for breakfast buffet for 2, $20 for room service pot of coffee. Extra cost include valet parking $30 day, $25 day resort fee to use beach and pool. If you don't mind the noise stay closer to Wharf area on Duval. Great entertainment all over the place, Island had a Carribean feel but if you've been to the Carribean, Key West felt like an American version. Liberal policy seems to be allowed as you can walk around the streets with drinks and enter and leave establishments with your drink in hand. If you like to party this is a great place to experience all your desires.

Couldn't check in on time. Room was average not as nice as expected and definitely not worth the inflated prices.

Hotel mit sehr gutem Privatstrand

Posted Jan 18, 2015
Insgesamt absolut empfehlenswert.

Love the pool and beach area.

Posted Jan 16, 2015
Just returned from our second stay at the Reach, we love the location and facility's. Only thing I would change would be to put a chest of drawers in the room, no place to put your clothes on a long stay. Rooms should also have a small table and two chairs so when your order room service you have somewhere to eat. The pool and beach area are great and service is outstanding.

Had a strobe light flashing ALL night in both of our rooms. Called front desk and they did nothing about it. Couldn't sleep!! Told front desk about it when we checked out and they said they have never encountered that before but gave no reason as to why they didn't come to fix it. Not happy with their service!!

Hotel on the beach

Posted Jan 12, 2015
It's a very nice hotel immediately next door to southernmost and significantly cheaper. The beach is also better than southernmost but key west is not a beachy island so keep that in mind. It's fresh and clean. Depending on which room you get you might have a long maze-like walk from the main entrance but there are staircases scattered throughout that will get you to street level with less hassle. On the quieter side of key west so at least a 5 min walk to the party on duval. Across the street from Ana's Cuban food - recommend that for breakfast or lunch for sure. 10 min walk to hemingways house. 20 min to the other side of old town, cruise ships and party scene. Annoying that you have to pay for parking at the hotel. For the price they should include it but apparently this is standard at many hotels now.
