“Just Shy of Paradise”

So commented our traveling companions upon arriving at the Weatherstation Inn. Its location in the Truman Annex has the feel of a botanical garden. Hard to believe you are just a short walk from Mallory Square and Duval Street. Our days began with a leisurely continental breakfast on our balcony - fresh pastries, delicious orange juice, and good coffee. After spending the middle of the day exploring Key West, we spent the hottest part of the day in the cool comfort of the garden and pool. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the room comfortable and well kept. If I had to find any fault it would be that the pillows were a bit hard for our taste - barely worth mentioning. The Weatherstation Inn is a jewel. This was our third multi-day stay in Key West. We'll be back, and this will be our preferred lodging for future visits.

“The Perfect Key West Inn.”

The Weatherstation Inn is charming beyond comparison with beautiful rooms, a sincere staff, and what is probably the best location on the island. The Truman Annex area is just 2 blocks from Duval, and just as short a distance from the State Park and its beaches. This is an adult inn best suited for couples who want to experience sublime Caribbean relaxation while staying close to the parties.

“Great place in a beautiful area”

Wetherstation Inn is a great small hotel in a gorgeous location. Close to all the things in old town Key West, we walked everywhere. We loved it for honeymoon and hope to return. Its not a place with convenient access, the second floor rooms can only be reached by a long exterior stairway, but it was not a problem for us. It is not a great place with kids, but for couples getaway, it was fantastic.

“Can't”

James and Barbara were absolutely fabulous. They gave us great recommendations for restaurants and beaches. One of the most pleasant stays we have had. We have recommended this place to several of our family and friends. I only have great things to say about this B&B!!!!! Can't wait to go back!

“Impressed from Seattle”

The Weatherstation Inn suited our needs perfectly on our trip to Key West. The staff was helpful, cheerful and interested in making sure our stay was exactly what we expected. This is the type of personal service that sets this small inn apart from the bigger hotels. We'll be back again and look forward to the good strong coffee and pastries on the deck in the morning!

“Perfect location and a great place to unwind after hot day!”

The location of this B&B is perfect. It is inside the gated Truman community (which you are given keys for since the gates are locked at 6 p.m.) and is just a few short blocks from Mallory Square, Duval Street, Hemingway's House, the seaport, well ... just about everything. The neighborhood is so nice and quiet and beautifully kept, as is the Weatherstation. The room was very quaint, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is just enough (coffee, tea, juice, fresh fruit, danish and quiche). Barbara is very helpful and so pleasant to deal with. She was completely unobtrusive and we could tell that it was important to her that we truly enjoyed our accomodations and the town to the fullest. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

“Fantastic experience!”

The staff was warm, welcoming and so very helpful from the moment I stepped into the building! They were friendly, the room was lovely and....did I say how wonderful the staff was? Breakfast was delicious and having fresh squeezed orange juice was a bonus for sure! The beds were so comfortable and I slept amazingly well! The location is in such a quiet neighborhood but so close to all the hustle and bustle of Duval! I very much enjoyed my stay there and am looking forward to staying there again sometime!

“Great Location”

This was our 2nd trip to Key West & we loved the beautiful, historic WS Inn. The heated pool/deck was a great spot to eat breakfast or hang out. Easy walk to the Fort Zachary State Park and downtown points of interest. We would stay there again.
