Very good stay, beautiful view, great locationPosted Oct 31, 2013
Pros: view, location, personnel
We had a 1-night stay at Hotel Varonos. The hotel is nicely located on the central road of Delphi leading to the archeological site - 5 minutes on foot, very close to shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is very traditional, has a splendid view to the valley, make sure yo do not miss it by asking a room with view. Personnel is very welcoming and warm, George and John are great and do their best to make you feel like home. Would definitely visit again.

Nice hotel with great view.Posted Jul 11, 2013
Pros: The hotel manager, Janis, was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The breakfast was average but serviceable.
Location: Pretty close to the archeological sites.
The hotel is in the center of town. The room was comfortable with a terrific view of the Gulf of Corinth.

Very Satisfied Customer- 5 Star Experience for me!Posted Apr 10, 2013
Pros: Customer service, Cleanliness
Location: Great Location
I am a very picky person esp. when it comes to cleanliness. This hotel is an absolute 5 Star for me. The owner was very understanding and helpful (after our navigator wouldnt take Delphi as a destination we kept on calling him ). When we got there he gave us the room up in the Attic since it has the great view of the Valley. Which was an absolute delight since the room we originally booked was just the regular room. He also gave us a bottle of wine! The room was fairly large considering the location, very clean and nicely comfortably furnished. The bathroom was very clean indeed. The location is also great, 10 mins. walk (with some window shopping) to the Museum. I am a very very satisfied customer !!!!

Good hotelPosted May 30, 2012
Pros: Location, price, terrace view and wifi access.
Cons: The decor (although at least there was decor of any kind...)
Location: This hotel is located right on the main street of Delphi, about 100 m from the site. It backs onto the valley and some of the rooms have a good view.
This hotel is well-located in Delphi and is good value for the price. It is a little eccentric, and the lobby is filled with odd knick knacks, but the rooms with a view do have a lovely view of the valley, the beds are decent and the traditional Greek breakfast included in the price exceeded our expectations. There are two computers in the lobby and free wifi access as well. Check in and out were very easy, and the staff were very pleasant.

Beautiful locationPosted Oct 31, 2011 on Hotels.com
The room had a balcony and a beautiful view. It was easy to walk to the historic sites although we were there on a day when there was a general strike and couldn't get in to one of the relics. Only drawback was no elevator, but hotel staff helped with luggage up the stairs.

the Veranos is a great place in DelphiPosted Oct 1, 2011
Our hosts were the nicest people. They helped us with an internet issue and even let our co-traveler park his bicycle in their office area. The small lenai had a great view of the valley and port below and was big enough for three of us to enjoy evening refreshment with a view. This place is centrally located in Delphi, easy walk to the bus station and parking usually available on the street.

Varanos Hotel, DelphiPosted Sep 22, 2011 on Hotels.com
Lovely, family run hotel, very convenient for ancient site, really enjoyed our stay. We had a sea view room with breakfast - good rate - Definately recommend. Word of warning to car drivers - parking in street outside changes sides of road from month to month - check with hotel or locals before leaving your car for a couple of days.
