“Nice hotel”
The only compliant were the pillows. They were horrible. They weren't just too soft they were practically nonexistent. When I put my head on one it felt like my head was directly on the mattress. For a nice spa they could splurge and get better pillows.

Everything about the hotel is excellent. That includes service, scenery, accomodations and local attractions.

Excellent resort, great food, superior service, very clean. Most relaxing place stay we've found for a long time. Highly recommended. Good shopping too.
“A wonderful place”
We went for just an over night stay, but wished we could have been there longer. It was quiet, comfortable and very clean; everyone we came in contact with was very congenial.
“Very nice hotel”
Pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel. The food at the grill was great, the beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were a nice size. I wish we had had our own balcony rather than an extended balcony shared with everyone on the floor, however. The fitness center was nice and had very up to date equipment, and there were multiple pool choices (kid vs. adult) which I thought was great.
“Beautiful, comfortable, an overall great get-away”
This was my boyfriend's and mine first time to Lake Geneva and we couldn't have been more impressed by the hotel or downtown lake Geneva itself. The really only draw back is that while the Abbey is on lake Geneva, it is on the other side of it. This could also be looked at as a benefit as it is separated from the hussle and bussle of downtown with an easy drive to get to it all. The concierge helped us many times with boat ride tickets, dinner suggestions, and reservations. The room was big and comfortable, the outdoor events made you feel like you were actually at a resort compared to a hotel. Every night there is a bonfire, during the day there are games like badminton and bags available to play, and on Fridays and Saturday nights there is live music playing in the waterfront bar. The moods were a very good band. Overall, our trip was a lot of fun and Lake Geneva is just beautiful. Looking for a romantic great meal? Cafe Calamari in Williams Bay is phenomenal.
“Nice place to stay in Fontana”
Nice resort--we had a street level room with a small patio. Beds were super comfortable. Bath was big--double sinks was perfect since my friend and I shared the room on a one night visit. Very pleasant overall.
“Abbey's New Look”
The Abbey's new look is fabulous. I haven't been there in a couple of years and was pleasantly surprised. I would suggest reducing the prices in the hotel restaurant. A bowl of oatmeal is not worth the amount I paid along with a cup of coffee.
