“The Abbey Resort & Fontana Spa”

My husband and his family have stayed at The Abbey Resort & Fontana Spa many times over the years. We were pleasantly surprised that it has been updated since their last visit! The decorating was fashionable, the bed wonderful, and the bathroom luxurious! The kids had a great time in the pool - we spent hours. I appreciated the apples on the front desk, but did not appreciate the unhealthy food options in the cafe! (just pastries) The rate was VERY reasonable and we would definitely stay there again!

Especially for kids. Great pool area. Easy walk to park across the street (shape of a pirate ship).

The Abbey is a beautiful resort. We were very happy with our rooms, and we had a wonderful dinner in their restaurant, The Fontana Grill. We swam in the large, indoor pool. The outdoor pools - one for adults and one for families - looked very inviting, too.

“Totally Remodeled”

The rooms were far better than I expected. All the rooms had recently been gutted and remodeled with new upscale bathrooms, flat sceen TVs, microwave, mini fridge. Resort has four pools along with a marina. Perfect location.

“Hotel Nice, Food OK”

Went to the Abbey for a night away from home with my boyfriend. The hotel was very nice, the room looked like it was re-done recently and was very clean and comfortable. We had a balcony, which is a shared balcony with all the other rooms on the floor. Since we got in late we went to Fontana Grill for dinner - I would say the food was just OK - there are probably better places. Also, know that the Abbey is not in Geneva and there isn't too much around there - it's about 10-15 min drive over there.

A great resort witg all the amenities you could ask for. It is located in a serene area, but the beach town of Lake Geneva is only a short drive away with plenty of cute boutiques and a variety of places to dine. Overall we love this hotel and the entire Lake Geneva area!

“Great weekend getaway from Chicago”

Loved the place, pools, service and cleanliness, vicinity, fall colors back drop, lake view, brunch @ Fontana Grill. Turned out to be a great gift birthday for my boyfriend, he loved it :-)
