The person at the front desk was friendly. The facilities were very scary to say the least. The facility is very ran down. Group of people in parking lot having a cook out. Room smelled strongly of years of smoking. Insects in bathroom. This one should not be listed on Hotels.com

Many of the rooms on the backside of the hotel had currents falling off the rods. The lobby had a table piled high with some kind of product. Just lack of pride and presentation. My reservation had not be transferred to them from Travelocity and therefore unable to provide a room as they were sold out. First impressions were terrible and thank goodness I was able to find a hotel that was clean and much safer.

0 stars. Absolutely a nightmare. Check in was easy. Entered the room, it's in utter disrepair, with holes punched in the drywall, box springs collapsed in, furniture was in shambles (literally missing the front off some drawers). The bedsheets were covered in a mix of stains, paint, and cigarette burns. Used q tips and makeup brushes still littered the bathroom floor. The window curtains had various sizes of bandaid patched onto them. Roaches crawl along the television set, and none of this yet was the deal breaker for me. When I heard a neighboring room occupant shouting at someone angrily how they would "eat their eyeballs, their toes, their arms" before slamming the door on someone, that did it. I spent 10 minutes in this room; 10 minutes too long. Unless you need a cheap spot to do drugs or escape the law, avoid this place.

The front desk was not a happy lady. There were kids milling around on bikes. Beer cans in parking the curtains had duct tape on them covering the holes. The shower/ tub didn’t work. The tub was filthy. I am amazed this place is still open

My stay overnight was okay but the room I reserved on the app was not available. They gave me a double room instead but the lamps did not work and had to cut the light on near the sink. On my way to the room, I had to walk around bicycles and scooters because there were several families staying there as well. People were loud and I had to plug in my earbuds to block out the noise. I eventually went to sleep at 4 AM because of people leaving for work, breakfast, etc. So, it was not bad but not great either.

Absolutely DISGUSTING hotel. Shower didnt work. Sink didnt work. AC didnt work. Broke beds. Carpet pulled up. Walls were falling down. Dead roaches and live cockroaches crawling .

Friendly reception, very attentive and accommodating Last minute stay for us. Close and Least expensive for our Spartan Race. Beds were very comfortable. Older but clean. Saw a few insects but nothing major. I would stay again if needed

When we arrived to check in, someone called the front desk to complain about bugs in their room (we could hear him through the phone). The woman at the desk was polite and said the exterminator had been there earlier in the week and that they were booked full and couldn't move him. We got our key and went to look at our room. The room reeked of smoke, despite being advertised as non-smoking. There were dead bugs and dirt on the carpet. Roaches crawled out of the bathroom sink. We stayed for about 2 minutes and then turned in our key and left. They do not give a refund and even knowing that we couldn't stay there. DO NOT STAY HERE. We knew the reviews were bad but it was even worse than we expected! We thought it would be ok for one night and it wasn't acceptable even for that. Expedia, you should remove this listing. Totally unacceptable.

First I got there and the staff says that Expedia cancelled my reservation but they were able to find me a room. I called Expedia and they had no record of the cancellation being made but I think/ hope that that is all squared away after Expedia support called hotel. Just don’t want to get charged twice since I already paid online and then had to pay again to get a new room. Oh, the room.... well, let’s just say it was not up to par. I walked into room 216 and immediately the stench of cigarette smoke hit me, then I noticed my window curtain was torn so I had to rig it for some privacy but when I saw a live roach scurrying for cover as two others lie dead on my floor, I called the front desk and asked for a different room or a refund. Couldn’t refund and all rooms were booked per desk. She did say that she would send housekeeping down to clean room while I left and went to get supper. They say u get what u pay for, and well, I did. Between two different occasions that night of individuals trying to get in the room that was already booked to me but must have been given to someone else as well, the pipes in the walls made horrible noises all night every time someone else turned the water on in their room. I slept very little and so decided to get up and shower.... well let’s just say, the shower was full blast and at the same time, the water was full blast out of the tub faucet filling the tub as I showered with a very slow drain. Overall very disappointed.

Terrible experience.Duty manager was off site and had turned management of the property over to a non-employee while she went to a children’s party. Filthy rooms, smoke in non-smoking rooms, staff never even looked at the rooms with us, refused to accommodate refund and then lied to Expedia as to the nature of our complaints about the property. We will be talking with corporate to try to resolve the issue

In town for business. Pictures on the internet are misleading. I walked in the room and heard water running. As I approached the bathroom the toilet was running. I had t fix it before I could use it. I asked the housekeeper and she stated that you might have to fix more things before you leave. Only 1 lamp would work. Very few outlets that were in working condition. The next morning I was unfolding my towel and a roach crawled out. Needless to say I will not stay here ever again. Bad Choice!!!! Not much to choose from in the area.

We stay in alot of hotels while working . We are contractors and usually not very fussy as long as we have a decent please to rest. But this place was soooo nasty that we slept on top of the covers with our coats on.

This hotel is isolated from the main drag. Had to drive to get coffee. The room could have been cleaner; just didn't pay attention to detail. Staff person didn't know we had a reservation; thankfully they had a room.

The first room we were given had bare wiring around the electrical sockets, and had a funny stale smell. We switched rooms, the second one didn’t smell and the wiring looked ok, however, the whole place could use a lick of paint and some maintenance. The carpet was stained and the beds were not that comfortable. The free WiFi that was advertised didn’t work for the entire duration of our 2 week stay, despite us bringing it to the attention of the staff on numerous occasions. Also, beds were hardly made up, despite having daily housekeeping advertised, and we had to ask for our room to be vacuumed. Most of the staff were friendly enough, but the place needs a lot of work.

The staff were very helpful and courteous. The condition of the rooms was poor, especially the bathroom. The room, mine and my sister's adjacent room need substantial repairs. There were roaches and black mold in the bathroom, due primarily to moisture in the walls and ceiling. While I understand that the hotel is older, and I've no issues with the staff, I would probably not recommend the hotel to someone else until significant repairs are made. As it happens, the need was urgent due to the hurricane(s) approaching South Carolina and Georgia.

If there are no other options.....
Roaches in room, they sprayed when we brought it to their attention. Toilet ran all night had to turn it off at base. You can hear through thin walls what is happening in rooms next to you. Mildew on shower curtain, peeling wallpaper and paint in rooms. They advertise free continental breakfast but there isn't one. Very few outlets in room.

1st room carpet was dirty,sink was falling off the wall, the ceiling over the tub looked like it was ready to fall,bugs everywhere the desk clerk was very pleasant and moved us to another room. 2nd room carpet dirty, toilet wouldn't flush water was turned off,when we turned it on water went every where,lots of bugs that looked like cockroaches. After 2 nights we checked out. Desk clerk apologized and said owner would contact me about a refund,to this date I have not heard from him. I had paid for 5 nights

Spend the extra extra money!
Never do I write reviews but I have to on this one... Dilapidated, filthy, roaches, prostitute hanging around outside, fights, vending machine with bullet holes, mattresses that would make your skin crawl, don't dare leave the room after dark, and don't ask for extra towels..." they don't leave me any because they're afraid they'll get stolen," said the lady at the front desk when we asked for extra. ONLY good thing...water pressure was amazing in the shower. Spend the extra $50 and go someplace you can be safe and comfortable.

Baby roaches on bathroom sink and under microwave, half of a cigarette under the bed, a spot that looked like a squashed French fry in carpet, bug traps under beds, stained sheets and comforters. It was just gross. I am not exaggerating.

Pretty good deal, I've definitely paid a lot more for motel rooms almost exactly like this before.My eyes watered like crazy all night and my nose was so stuffed after laying in bed though so I must have been allergic to something in the room though..... my budget takes priority though so 3 stars lol
