“Gross hotel”

“Great location for our needs”

We were looking forward to attending a dinner theater performance at the Fireside Theatre in Ft Atkinson, and wanted a convenient hotel so we wouldn't need to drive an hour back home after the show. Not only was the hotel right next door to the theater, but it ended up being a very nice basic hotel. The pool was nice, and we had a continental breakfast the next morning. The staff was very cordial.

“Not a Pleasant Experience”

Front desk clerks were not friendly and were hard to understand, the room was dirty, glasses on the counter had mold on them. Not a pleasant experience!

“Courteous and attentive”

Definitely a good value. Not the best location, with construction on Hwy. 26, but that wasn't a big disadvantage. We had a late arrival, past 9:30pm, but our confirmed reserved room was ready for us, and the clerk was very quick about getting us to our room so we could get to bed, a relief for weary travelers! He was also courteous, as he made sure to mention the pool and hot tub hours, in case we wanted to take advantage of them. The room had a small fridge and microwave, though we didn't use them, and a coffeemaker and hairdryer, which I did use and appreciated. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. In the morning there was a plentiful offering for the conntinental breakfast, which was supplied by an attentive staff member who made sure that nothing ran too low as guests partook of the food and beverages.

“Worth it if Going to Alpine Valley”

This is an older, cheap hotel, but the service was OUTSTANDING!!!! They let us check in at 1:00. He even said if the room is ready, you can get in as early as 10:00. We needed a computer, which they do not have but the Manager let us use his personal computer- It was very nice. Good Coffee in the AM.

“Nice place to stay”

The room was nice and clean. The pool and spa was excellent. It was enjoyable watching the ducks in the morning.

“Great Deal”

We were a little worried at first when we saw this hotel rated a one star on a website. We definitely felt it was higher--our rooms were clean & quiet. There was no elevator so we dragged our bag up the steps and we had a little trouble figuring out how the shower control worked but we were quite happy with our stay--very nice staff and there was tea/coffee available late at night. We did not eat breakfast there so we can't comment on that. We would definitely stay there again!!

We stayed at the hotel after attending a show next door at the Fireside Dinner Theater. We have gone a few times--food is amazing and we have never seen a bad show. It was wonderful!!
