“Great Place to Stay.”
The hotel was clean and comfortable. It was very quiet which we appreciated. It is a great place to stay when visiting UW Whitewater. The location is perfect.
“No suprise. It's Wisconsin.”
Needed a place to hang my hat for the night as I had an event starting very early the next morning. I found out that there were many other participants of the same event staying in the hotel. I asked at the front desk about breakfast and they told me that it would be starting an hour and a half early because they had a number of guests that needed to be on the road before the time it normally started. And they did this all with a smile not like they were being forced to do it. Most hotels would just say "too bad". I love Wisconsin and it's people.
“Great experience and the workers were very polite!”
Great experience and nice polite staff waitng and willing to help.
“Descent”
The room was clean and service was good. The continental breakfast was terrible. The donuts were stale and the jelly packets were half liquid they were so old.
“NICE PLACE TO STAY”
THE HOTEL WAS CLEAN, LOCATION WAS GOOD ROOM WAS NICE AND EVERYTHING WAS FINE
“Manager”
I little pricy, but very nice. Clean and comfortable.
“Okay for the price”
This is an inexpensive hotel so I wasn't expecting the Hilton, which is good because it definitely wasn't. The towels had the be the thinnest I've ever seen. Nice neighborhood, staff was efficient, friendly and helpful, except when it came to possible dining choices for me. The young woman at the desk seemed totally unfamiliar with local restaurants when I asked if she could suggest anything. Fortunately the staff at the Whitewater public library was able to help me there. (I ended up going to a Mexican restaurant down the street from the hotel, located in a small strip mall. I would have missed it without this recommendation, and that would have been sad. The restaurant was great. Truly Mexican, wonderful decore). My other main complaint with the hotel had to do with the fitness room. I used it at 7:00 a.m. in the morning. There were towels all over the floor, the same ones I saw there the night before, so clearly no one was checking in on it. But worse than that was the room temperature. It was very very warm and stuffy in that tiny room. There was a tiny fan on the treadmill machine itself, but nothing in the room at large, and no thermostat, so all I could do was tolerate the heat of the room until I left. If you're going to have a fitness room, please try to maintain it reasonably well, and find a way for users to control the temperature. Otherwise, the price was more than reasonable. The room was clean enough.
“The hotel was close to where my daughter lives, thus it was the right choice for me”
The continental breakfast was ok, I sudjest Jessica's on main st. For burgers, try culvers across the street, and for dinner, your on your own. I'm used to being 5 min from everything, I found myself driing an hour for everything else. My daughter lives in white water, so the hotel was a perfect match for me.
“Where is maintenance?”
Between my roommate who was a snorer, to the loud, I mean very loud air conditioning noise. I think they were trying to out noise each other. They need to do some serious maintenance to room 208!!!
“don't go on the cheap”
the rooms this hotel reserves for last are the worst in the hotel. I got a whirlpool suite thinking it would be worth the extra money, but the room was over the pool pump room, and there was a very loud motor noise that permeiated the entire room. I like quiet to sleep, and this noise was loud enough to be heard over the TV and made it hard to sleep.
