TEAM TRAVEL

Posted Apr 29, 2014
Pros: Breakfast area was great, big selection, nice area to eat versus a smaller cramped room at some of the other hotels we have stayed in.
Cons: Enclose the rest of the hotel.
Location: Outlets across the street, lots of food choices. Close to Barnes softball complex, easy 15 min drive to Greeley Twin Rivers & Youth Sports Complex.
We travel a lot for our daughters softball team. This BW was decent enough and close to everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, pillows a tad small. The bathroom is smaller as well. You shut the door and the toilet is right there. You cannot sit and shut the door at the same time or you would hit your legs. Not enough room for two people to share the mirror. Kind of an issue when travel with girls. There is a remodeled section and an "older" section. Newer has an enclosed hallway type entrance to the room, very quiet no highway noises. The older section is still open to I25 and Eisenhower traffic noises (rooms 119 and up). I would have asked for a newer room if I had realized this was an issue. They appear to have recently replaced carpet in the "older section" which was nice. Be aware you can only enter and exit in one direction to this hotel. You must exit eastbound onto Eisenhower. If you wish to "drive" across the street to eat you have to make a 1 mile loop to get to the other side. There is a bar at the hotel.

Old hotel with lots of issues

Posted Apr 29, 2014
This is an older hotel with doors that open to the outside. The room smelled really bad and there was such a gap in between the door and the frame that you could see light through it. Definitely not worth the price I paid.

Front desk is excellent and super friendly. I think her name was Rebecca. Breakfast was great and tons of food with a great selection. Only down fall was the bathroom was so small was hard to get in and close the door. My husband thought the bed was very uncomfortable but seemed o.k. to me.

Pros: Staff. I think there may be an area of this hotel, without the above issues, but do not have first person experience.
Cons: Update. Security. Replace door p, noisy fan etc.
Disappointing room and stay. I hadn't stayed in a Best Western for some time, and was surprised with this one. The staff was very good to deal with, and the office are was clean, neat and very presentable. Our room however seemed to be mid 60's and was accessible through a door directly from a back parking lot. This leaves a question as to security, as well as the fact that the door allowed a draft of cold air into the room. All in all, the room was clean, but not what is common. We did not expect a suite, but it was probably not up to Motel 6 standards. At 6:00 the next morning, there was only like warm water for showering.

Room was great and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only issue is that it's hard to get in and out of this hotel.

A Good Place to Stay

Posted Sep 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
While I was skeptical of the location of my room (door faced Hwy 25), the room was absolutely quiet. Room was clean, and was cleaned to my satisfaction each day of my four-day stay. Although the mattress appeared to be aged, it was comfortable and I slept good. In-room coffee, refrigerator and micro was very helpful. Breakfast was good. Didn't get a chance to swim in the pool because of all the rain but the pool was clear and warm. The grounds are nicely landscaped. This hotel lived up to my expectation of Best Western, and I would definitely stay here again.

An OK option for those traveling with pets

Posted Aug 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
The reason I chose this hotel was because it would be conveniently located to continue our trip toward Rocky Mountain National Park on the next day, and because it was a pet-friendly property. Here are the positives: A) overall condition of the hotel is good and the room was clean, B) The internet connection was very good, C) the staff was very polite and helpful. The two negatives of this property were: A) the small size of the bathroom, and B) the noisy environment. The latter was perhaps due to the fact that we had a pet, so we were given a room with outdoor access (not all rooms in the property are like this). Regretfully, that comes with greater noise coming from the adjacent I-25 and from housekeeping chatting as they accumulated sheets/towels in carts immediately in front of our room.

Great location next to the interstate, shopping and Loveland. Construction going on and the HOtel was very accomodating to this. The facility will look great when all done. Really good breakfast-waffles, eggs, fruit, muffin etc. Swimming pool was small but clean
