quality clean rooms

Posted Apr 28, 2015
quality clean rooms, friendly staff, nice pool, gym, fantastic complementary breakfast, hot water, train right outside the window all night, which didn't bother the people with me but I am not used to being awakened every hour with blowning horns.

Horrible. Dirty and next to a loud railroad

Posted Apr 13, 2015
We wanted a king non-smoking room. We arrive to a double bed 'non-smoking' room that had an intense smoke smell. There is a train that runs by about every 30min into the early hours which made sleep nearly impossible. Pool was drained due to repairs. Our phone in our room didn't work. We had a 'Do Not Disturb' on our door and had housecleaning knock on our door twice in about 3 hours. The card swipe was not working on the exterior door next to our room. Management knew about the room smelling like smoke (confessed that a person stayed in that room and smoked the entire time)

A little pricey.

Posted Apr 12, 2015
Pros: Close walking distance to restaurants, and some small shops.
Cons: Staffs knowledge about their hotel. I was told by 5 different people that the pool would be opened. It was not.
Location: Close to restaurants, small shops.
I called 3 days, 2 days, and the morning of my check in, to make sure we were able to swim in the pool. My daughter was in Greeley for All State Band, and she has Fibromyalgia. I knew she would be hurting, so I wanted a place where she could swim to ease her pain. I checked in on Thursday afternoon, and the pool was not open. The person who checked me in, said it would be opened on Friday. They worked on it Friday, and as of when I checked out on Saturday, it was still not open. I was very disappointed with that part. The room was comfortable. You could hear the passing trains, however is was not very loud. Room was clean, and staff was friendly. Minus the lies about the pool of course.

Clarion Greeley

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: The room was comfortable, pleasant and clean
Cons: the hallways and elevators
Location: plenty of restaurants and pubs in the vicinity
The room I was in was 100 yards from the railroad tracks. The trains came thru every 2 hours blowing their horns and the resulting rumble of the cars. Woke me each time. Very distracting.

Was given a room looking out on the indoor pool. People in the pool screaming until 11:00 pm; called the front desk to complain, but it made little difference.

Great hotel right in downtown Greeley

Posted Feb 19, 2015
We loved our stay here. We wanted something walking distance from downtown and the Moxi theater and this was perfect! The staff was friendly and we did have a problem with the room key/lock and they had to switch our room, but we ended up in a suite which was really nice & also gave us some free drink coupons for the inconvenience. Thanks! Great stay!

Poor front desk service.

Posted Feb 4, 2015
Pros: The cleaning ladies were very nice and pleasant. Clean room.
Cons: Work on the front desk clerks. No professionalism. The one lady told the young girl to tell us it had water in it but that is all she knew. ????
The pool was closed and we were told they were only waiting for a PH test and it would be opened. Checking all day and the story just kept changing. Our little grandson was so excited to swim, the main reason we booked our room there. Not only did it not get opened untill we checked out on day 2 we were pretty much dismissed regarding the discussion. We would of checked into another hotel if we would of been properly told the situation, if the desk clerk would of been strait up with us. As it was we spent to much money on a room for not reason. We will not be staying there again or any of our family. We do go to Greeley alot; very disappointed.

greeley Co

It was pretty good. Staff was helpful and breakfast was good. The only issue I had was being charged 10 dollars on my account that they could not account for why it was there and I had to pay it.

Great downtown location

Posted Dec 28, 2014
The downtown location and proximity to shops and restaurants can't be beat, and it's pet-friendly. It's an older hotel in need of updating, but still clean and very comfortable. The staff was excellent and tried their best with what they had to work with- for example, I noticed an employee placing folded towels on all the chairs by the indoor pool. The breakfast buffet was good. The only real downfall was the proximity to the railroad; my room was at the end of the hall, maybe 50 meters from the track. Those horns blasted several times throughout the night and woke me up like PTSD, but the second night I expected it and slept better. The hotel should definitely look into upgrading to sound-reducing windows. Overall, the hotel was average, about what I expected for the price. I'll likely stay there again next time I visit.
