I booked and paid through the app. When I arrived they changed my room to a different cheaper room saying that’s all they had, but did not refund the difference. When I entered the room I saw towels on the floor and an unmade bed. Since this was the only room left I waited an hour for them to clean it.
While I waited I saw three other customers come to check in. All had prepaid and pre-booked. None got a room as the company sold them rooms that don’t exist, apparently. The desk clerk was nice enough and sincere, but the place is so terribly managed that this is common, apparently.
In the morning at breakfast I noticed a very meager an unappetizing setup. It seemed the management/owners were purposely trying to do the bare minimum to attract business, but that they sincerely hate their customers.
The condition of the property was in disrepair. The training and management of staff was severely lacking (the poor clerk did not even know how to refund all those customers’ money).
Overall this was, by far the worst Marriott property I’ve ever seen. This was not worth $80, much less the almost $200 I paid. Find another hotel to stay at. Seriously. I warned you. It’s bad! Way worse than a cheap motel. Way worse.
