Convenient hotel to Estes Park and the Rocky Mtns

Posted Jul 13, 2014
Pros: The breakfasts hot, were well stocked and delicious
Cons: They were short staffed for the 4th Holiday, so our room did not get cleaned and the hotel staff left our door propped open while we were gone.
Location: Estes Park Colorado and Rocky Mountain Nation Park is an hour drive away.
Overall a pleasant stay, the staff was helpful and the room was tidy on our arrival. We thought the hot tub was too hot.

way better than the Stanley

Posted Jul 6, 2014
After a terrible experience in Estes Park at the Stanley hotel, this place was a much welcomed experience if both cleanliness and the staff was very cordial and welcoming.

Nice hotel.

Cons: Clear directions to the hotel. The round abouts were confusing.
The staff is very friendly and knowledgable about the area. The rooms are clean and breakfast was tastey. We enjoyed our stay.

Overpriced and mediocre

Posted Jun 7, 2014
Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were kept clean and orderly.
Cons: The Internet was too slow. The room temp was hard to regulate. Pool and patio were not appealing. Mediocre rooms should be priced less.
Location: There were restaurants and a shopping mall nearby.
I had not been on a long vacation for several years, so I wanted to stay at a high quality inn while visiting Loveland, Colorado for a week.

Great Graduation Trip

Posted May 25, 2014
Pros: The staff were terrific, the hotel was in top shape.
We attended my daughters graduation from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, and stumbled on this Hampton as the closest to the campus that we could find. The staff went out of their way to make this visit memorable. The hotel location was perfect, close to Ft Collins, near Rocky Mountain National Park, Estes Park, Denver, etc.

Resturaunts and stores are walking distance.

The staff were very nice and the rooms were very clean as well as sound proof. Nothing like hearing people in the hallway to ruin your sleep. I was very pleased with the accomodations.

Good- hotel, hotel management, location

Posted Apr 8, 2014
Pros: Day staff were friendly, very well located
Cons: Day staff were VERY much better than late night staff, they could be upgraded
Location: Restaurants, Shopping, Outlet Mall, Close to Highway access and gas stations
I would definitely stay here again, and also recommend this hotel. Had some "experiences" with the late night graveyard staff that the hotel senior management had to correct- which they DID, the senior management I would rate as an A team, however the late night staff leave a LOT to be desired. Hotel is very close to TONS of restaurants, a Target, a beer/wine store (don't sell this in grocery stores and gas stations sell 3.2% low alcohol beer) and a small retail outlet mall (lots of vacancies for some reason) which had COACH, NIKE, REEBOK and I think an Under Armour to note.

Nice simple hotel

Posted Apr 8, 2014
Bottom line - I would definitely stay here again. Great staff- except late night staff which had to have help from general management to correct things. But just a little challenging if you need to deal with the graveyard shift staff. General management did make everything better.
