Wonderful room!

They are in the process of renovating, so the outside looks average. But the rooms are beautiful and very clean.

Pros: Close to main highway
Cons: Needs some work done
Location: We did not stay in town, we only stay there on the way to Colorado Rockies,
The hotel needs some work/remodeling, close to main roads/highway so you could hear the traffic.

Cons: Hotel is dingy and outdated.
The staff was nice, but the hotel was in an older area. I found it to be outdated and dingy.

The facility was well maintained and the rooms were clean and modern. We did have a problem with the lighting system but it was easily resolved by a call to the front desk. The room was also missing the remote control but again the front desk compensated us for the inconvenience.

Conveniently near I-25, expensive

Posted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: Close to I-25, very comfortable beds, area seemed safe, breakfast was very good
Cons: Staff responsiveness, less expensive rates. Have breakfast past nine o'clock weekdays and past 9:30 weekends. We might want to sleep in on vacation.
Location: Near 1-25. No restaurants nearby. Nothing to do near by! Have to go into downtown Ft. Collins. Great bike trails, parks, walking downtown
Staff was not very receptive when we called at 10:30 pm to complain about the noise upstairs that was keeping us awake. I think there was a group of teens from a sports camp. He said there was a meeting in the kitchen and that he couldn't do anything about it. Regardless, it did quiet down after we called. When we stayed at Holiday Inn Express in Detroit, the staff told us to call and tell them if the teens in the sports camps groups were noisy, and they would take care of it. There was no noise there, because the teens knew they had to be under control, and their leaders knew it too. Room was lovely, but VERY expensive. We paid close to what we paid for the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park! And we were miles away from Fort Collins proper. Maybe all motels and hotels in Fort Collins are expensive during the season. But I would certainly try another chain next time, based on expense and staff responsiveness.

A good place to stay overnight in Ft. Collins. Not much else to say, room was clean (sterile) and comfortable enough.
