“Ft Collins Motel”
Nice facility. Pleasant desk clerk. Good breakfast selection. Will be back.
“Well worth the price”
My wife and I (and our three children) stayed at the Guesthouse Inn Ft. Collins for 10 days while attending a national convention. I didn't meet anyone at the conference who received a better rate than we received (through Expedia). The hotel staff was courteous, and the facilities were plenty adequate for our needs. The pool was great for the kids, and the continental breakfast offered a lot of variety (although it was pretty geared to grains). There were a couple of problems while we were there, but the staff took care of them quickly and courteously. A few days before, we had stayed at a national chain hotel that cost us more money for far fewer amenities. The staff was unfriendly, the breakfast scant, and the noise a bit over the top. We were extremely relieved and pleased at the treatment and value we got at Guesthouse Inn. Our conference will be returning to Ft. Collins in two years. Not only will we be staying at the hotel, we'll be encouraging our friends to book rooms there as well.
“1st night was good. next night we came back to our room and nothing had changed.”
we called the desk and they said they cant clean the rooms everyday because they have so many rooms. we had to go down and get our own coffee and towels and rags. the blowdryer did not work. the plumbing in the hot tub was loose. we wanted to check out when we found out they hadnt cleaned our room. did not empty our trash, bring us more coffee or make the bed. they said they had to charge us the full amount since we didnt check out at 11am. i told her that we left at 11am hoping to come back to a clean room at 6pm. we checked out. she said that she would only charge us for one night. i checked our bank account today and they took out the charge for 2 nights. i called and she said it could take up to 10 days to get our money back for the second night.

I benefited from the AARP rate, but even regular rates are a bargain when you consider the size of the room, the amenities that are included and the wonderful continental breakfast room (coffee, tea, cereals, pastries etc). This is not your most "modern" facility, though it has undergone recent ungrades. But it's very comfortable, clean and with a friendly staff. There is also a computer in the lobby that you can use. The hotel is not in downtown Ft. Collins, but it is only about a 15 minute drive (outside of rush hour!) away. There are convenience stores, and several family dining facilities within short reach.
