Out back

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: Ate at the hotel twice. BBQ place and Sunday brunch. Both were good.
Cons: Unfortunately, on line it said they were fully booked, so some family stayed at another hotel(not as nice). There were many rooms available, so call.
We stayed in the strip of rooms behind the hotel. It was two rooms open to each other with a cabin feel. It was a great meeting space for the family to hang out.

One night stay

Posted Apr 28, 2014
Pros: looks like they are in the process of remodeling - so far looks nice, I liked my bathroom.
Cons: More customer service oriented attitude. a mini fridge in the room would be nice.
Location: Edge of town, I wouldn't venture around without knowing where you are going. Buford's attached to the restaurant was convenient and has good food.
My stay was fine, nothing exceptional, but not uncomfortable. The woman at the front desk was friendly. The other two men I encountered were not outwardly rude but I felt like they thought I was bothering them. The hotel information in the room stated where the vending machines were and then had a separate statement that bottled water was available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. I was unsure what that meant so asked at the front desk and was told to use the vending machines. I said I didn't have any cash and did they have an ATM and they directed me to a convenience store down the street. I also asked if I could be put on the second floor as I was travelling alone and don't like to be on the ground floor with window access but they were unable to accomodate. The safe in the room also didn't work. When I checked out, the man at the desk did not ask if I enjoyed my stay.

Pros: Great sunrise breakfast that is included in price.
Cons: Cleanliness of the room. This room just was not very clean, especially the mold on the bathtub.
Location: We were there for Cross Country Nationals NJCAA.
This hotel was okay, but needed some deep cleaning done. We came in for the Cross Country Nationals and had car trouble so by the time we arrived we were too tired to complain too much, but I am not sure I would stay in this hotel again. The room just was not very clean. There were cobwebs in the corners, mold in the bathtub, a missing light bulb in the bathroom, very dirty carpet, and you could run your fingers through the dust on the TV stand. I am in the motel business so I am critical, but these are things that should have been looked for and done prior another guest staying. Simple cleaning and attention to detail was needed in this room.

This would be a place I would stay at again!

Pros: Room was clean and BIG
Location: There are too many thinmgs to mention. Read the info in the rooms. There is PLENTY of things to do while in town.
The room we were in was great. We got a free room up-grade to a suite that was just fantastic. We felt like we were in a log cabin. It had the biggest walk in closet I have ever seen in a motel.

Good

Pros: The pool and the friendly staff.
Cons: Small shower, no bathroom fan. No fridge in the room.
Location: Just off the highway but quiet and relatively close to any needs.
Overall it was a decent experience. Staff were friendly, room was clean. Lots of parking. Room was quiet with the exception of New Years Eve - which is to be expected. Not what I'd rate a 5 star hotel, but it suited my needs and expectations for a reasonable price.

Will use the motel again in the Suits extend stay

Posted Oct 25, 2011
Only stay in the suits, the extended stay rooms only. The rest is not so good because you can see it is not up graded too much and it has the smoke smell in the hallway and the paint color is bad . I only recommend the suits to stay in only.

"mixed up mess"

Posted Jun 5, 2011
missed our plane, so we had to wait for another one the next nite, so my son went to the hotel and explained to the clerk that we wouldn't be that nite, but we would be in some time early morning. she typed in the information somewhere and said "ok" the the room would be held for us... when we got there at 5a.m. and we was ready to check in, the room had been given to someone else and he didn't have anymore rooms cause they was all booked up! He couldn't even find "Where" the nite clerk had even put anything in, and when he did it showed that she had put it in as a "NO CALL< NO SHOW"!!!! My son come in with us to MAKE SURE that we got checked in and he told them what the girl said.and did. We finally did get another room, but it wasn't what we was suspose to get, and we had an offer to move the next day, but we stayed in that room. The swimming pool was a joke. it was nothing like the picture on line. it was only a kiddy pool, and so was the hot tub, my bathtub was bigger than what the hot tub was, and the chlorine was too strong to sit in it. very long. Also you had to go to the front desk to get towels, and they only gave you a couple of them. they was afraid you might be albe to wiple down after you got out ot the hot tub or your feet wet from the pool. NOooo i would not recomend this if yyou want to swim... If you just want to sit by the pool side that would be ok..
