Labor Day 2014Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: very little
Location: close to Iowa Central
We were in town for a family get together and just wanted a place to sleep one night. I remember better days for this place. Even though the room was as clean as you can get a >25 year old motel room, it was small, lacked current features and was uncomfortable.

Decent value for the price, would stay againPosted May 20, 2013
Pros: Large pool area, nice outdoor courtyard. Complimentary newspaper. Very easy to find, close to fast food, had restaurant on site but we didn't try it.
Cons: We usually like to look for a place that includes breakfast, there was coffee and orange juice, but nothing else. Could add some breakfast.
Location: Easy to find, right off Hwy 20/169. We attended a graduation and did not spend time checking out local attractions.
Needed a place to stay for just one nite. Place was older, but some updates had been made. Check-in was simple. Good value for the price, we were satisfied. There were laundry facilities, and although there were not microwaves in each room, there were some centrally located in each wing. There was a microwave near the vending machines, which was handy.

Hotel is good for the price. Nice pool. Hotel itself is very old, not that it is a horrible thing. I can't tell you the last time I stayed in a hotel that had actual metal keys instead of keycards.
