We had to wait for a couple of hours for a room. The staff were very cold and nasty.

The room i had was in a terrible space right outside the lights of the city at 95 interstate. The drapes were not dark enough to provide a dark room for sleep. Needless to say, i complained without any success to fix the drapes. The elevators were not air conditioned, so by the time i got to my car my hair was horrible. However, if need be and I cant get a room at the hard rock i would stay there again. It was close to the airport.

Pros: It was clean, comfortable, nice spacious room and the breakfast was very adequate and delicious.
Cons: The internet service. We were not able to access the internet although the password was given.
Location: We only overnighted but we were able to have dinner at a restaurant very close to the hotel.
My husband and I wanted a hotel for an overnight stay that was close to the port Everglades. The room rate was affordable to us hence the reason it was chosen.

The hotel was OK, it was a bit noisy outside, because of the proximity to the highway. Watch out for scammers calling your room, as soon as I got to the room I got a call asking for credit card info.

Front desk staff was not as friendly as I would have liked. I arrived 2 hours early and wanted my luggage to be held until my room was ready. Was in town to drop my son off at college. Needed to go shopping. My request was refused in an unpleasant manner and never did the clerk looked at me she continue to count cash..... I have never been told that my luggage could not be held.

Pros: Free wifi and free parking

Location: Convenient to highways, mall/restaurant nearby
Room accomodated family of 4. Room not cleaned by 2nd day. Not enough towels, when I asked for more staff member hesitated until I told her there were 4 of us. Bathroom was not replenished with tissue. On 3rd Day we made sure we left early to allow room to be cleaned and beds made, when we returned hours later, the garbage pails were emptied but the beds were not made. We showed the staff member the condition of the room, she did not speak English?? We asked for more towels and wash clothes, she left indicating she would be back...she did not come back, we had to go out and look for someone who gave us the towels.

Cons: room had extremely old carpet with musty smell
Location: close to airport, not close to resturants
hotel was 20 to 30 minute walk to any resturants, may be good if you have a car but it served its purpose for an overnight stay with ride to airport

Pros: exceeded expectations for the price.
Cons: Breakfast closes too late for vacationers (9 a.m.). Need to fix the scammer phone call problem.
Location: close to the beach, and lauderdale restaurants (by car).
Hotel, staff, room & price were excellent. At 1 in the morning got a scammer call(found out later) They said they were from the front desk and needed information (didn't give them any). Was informed of the scammer potential upon checkout and was even shown the small information sheet on the wall. They should have let people know upon check-in and and need to address the problem. (instead of "nothing they ca do")
