“Nice”

A great spot, close to the beach. Pleasant, private pool and gardens. The staff are accommodating and attentive.

“Great hotel for the non-fussy gay traveler.”

This was or second stay in three years. Not much changed, but that's not a bad thing. The rooms aren't elaborate or new, but they're clean and comfortable. The staff us ver friendly Nd accommodating. I'm sure we'll stay there again.

The hotel was very convenient to beaches, shopping, restaurants and gay nightlife! The room was exceptionally clean and the staff was wonderful! It's a great choice for gay men or couples!

“Quaint Guesthouse with No Attitude”

We absolutely loved the Cheston House and plan to go back every year. The guesthouse was very well cared for and the staff was extremely accomodating. The location was convenient to everything. We were there in the off season so it was quiet and very relaxing.

Cheston house was very clean and eveything i expected. The staff was very gracious and hospitable, and always ready to help. I will definately be going back for my next trip to Fort Lauderdale

“Overall a nice place to stay”

Overall a nice place to stay. Although the place is showing its age, they are on top of maintenance and the room was absolutely spotless. When most guest houses are moving towards the high end with 500 thread count sheets and marble baths (and charging accordingly), the Cheston reminded me of Lauderdale guesthouses 10 or 15 years ago. It was a good value for the rate I had. I didn’t have a chance to spend a lot of time relaxing on the grounds, but I did notice the pool was nice and warm (in the upper 80’s) and perfect for winter swimming. The place seemed to attract a friendly clientele and the owners and staff were very friendly and helpful as well.
