Marriott Fort Lauderdale SW Miramar

Pros: How clean it was. bathroom super clean, rooms are spacious, hallways are quiet, everything worked. including the air conditioning system.
Cons: Would love to see more energy conservation programs like LED lighting, sustainable furniture and carpet.
Location: Centrally located near malls, 1-95 and restaurants.
This hotel is very nice. clean, centrally located, near local malls and restaurants. The Front desk staff were courteous, and very helpful. the neat thing about it was how clean it was. Lobby was well kept, landscape was well groomed and had a very modern look inside.

Pros: The friendliness of the cooks and staff of the cafe.
Cons: 1. A wider variety of fast foods in the cafe. They did not have the ability to make a grilled cheese sandwich. 2. Bathtub was slippery.
Location: Location at corner of 29 and 145th street in Miramar, Florida. My trip was not for pleasure.
Hotel is in a quiet neighborhood but close to major highway to get to airports in Fort Lauderdale and Miami International. Staff was excellent and very helpful, both at the front desk and in the the fast food cafe. Room was comfortable and the temperature was comfortable. The bathroom was quite clean and the shower was adequate.

Nice property, close to major highways

Pros: Staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms clean and spacious.
Location: Close to shopping
Stayed over the 4th of July weekend for a family wedding. Everything about the experience was very positive, from the time of check in, staff were very courteous and attentive. We travelled with small children and were helped out promptly to find a microwaveable cup to warm milk. Very appreciative.

Best hotel experience

My husband and I stayed at the Marriott while we were in town visiting family and I don't think we'll ever stay anywhere else from now on. The hotel is perfect. Clean, great location, amazing staff, comfortable and spacious rooms. I don't think I have ever slept so well in a hotel. Oh and the breakfast at the bistro was incredible. Extremely satisfied. You won't regret staying here.

I would have given this hotel a 5 but one of the associates at the hotel felt the need to let me know that my elderly parents were making too much noise when they entered their room. She also made it a point to let me know that the people in the other rooms were corporate visitors, which really made me feel like we were 2nd class visitors. Unfortunate experience and I probably won't stay there again.

I apologize for any poor communication from my staff. While noise is sometimes an issue, that is definitely not the way to communicate with any guest. I will go over our vebiage in this type of situation with all of my staff.

My stay was wonderful. however if guests are not renting a vehicle, it is hard to get taxi service from the hotel unless it is arranged for ahead of time.
