“Great staff”

The hotel staff was extremely friendly and very attentive to our needs. I had a group of friends coming by to visit as a surprise for my partner since it was his birthday and the front desk was really cooperative in letting them stay in the lobby and then allowing them to come up to the room. They even offered me extra services just to accomodate us. I was really pleased with the quality of the staff and the cleanliness of the room.

“Great Stay for the price”

Our hotel was great. We had a corner room overlooking the water. If your looking for a hotel directly on the beach, this isn't the hotel for you, there is a 6 lane road separating the hotel from the beach. I didn't mind since the pool was great and it was within walking distance to the beach. The hotel staff was great and extremely friendly with the exception of one rude lady that worked in housekeeping. For the price you can't beat it.

Location too far from airport if you need to catch an alternate flight within a short period of time. Close to beaches which was lovely. Room clean and well kept. Pool and spa area nicely done. Good food and reasonably priced buffet for breakfast. would recommend.

“Love the location”

Love being right across the street from the beach. If you get tired of lounging at the beach, you can go back to the hotel and enjoy the infinity pool and Tiki Bar.

“Lovely Hotel would go back”

Great hotel we had a room on upper floor lovely view of waterway and partial ocean view. Lovely pool and just a short walk from ocean. The only negative view we would give is the retaurant was expensive as they always are in this type of hotel.

From the moment I checked in, I knew something was wrong. Everyone was so nice. From the front desk, waitress, bar and pool service to the valet parkers, the hotel and staff were excellent. I had breakfast at the hotel, the waitress could not have been nicer. Everything I asked for was done with a smile, from silverware and plates to reheat leftovers from dinner to a room on a higher floor with a better view. Valet staff wrote down directions for me and always told me a faster route to get where I was going. I tried to give him a tip and he refused. Spent all day at the pool, fantastic. Great hotel, Employees. I would stay here again. I have recommend this hotel to family and friends.

“Great Experience”

This was a getaway for my wife and I and we had a terrific time. The staff was absolutely amazing. The rooms were nice and always clean. The pool was obviously the claim to fame especially with the Tiki Bar and its staff. I recommend this place to everyone. however, avoid setting up any tours though the concierge as the experience was not good and he talked us out of going on our own and using the tour service as it was suppose to be much more convienent. We spent 5 of the 7 hour tour on the bus and this was very unsatisfactory. The only complaint we had the whole week.

From the moment we arrived all the employees were very nice and helpful. The room was a perfect size and clean. We spent most of our time at the pool, in which a waitress would walk around serving drinks and food. it was great we did not have to leave the pool side. The ocean was a block away. Walmart and grocery stores were in walking distance to pick up snacks and such. We had a great time and would definitely return to the Crowne Plaza.

“Would definitely go back”

There are 10 floors in the hotel and we stayed at the top one. I liked the fact that each room has a balcony with a view of the waterfront in one way or another. The room was modern and bright, and the beds definitely of high quality. We got the 2 bed executive room with two doubles. There is a free digital safe and we loved the little kitchenette with tons of cabinet space, a microwave, and a mini fridge that was actually quite spacious. High speed Internet access is free. The beds were firm with quality mattresses and pillows and there was an abundance of pillows on each bed (six plus one long decorative one). No bed bugs. The bathroom was well stocked with amenities such as hair dryer, magnifying mirror, soaps, shampoo and conditioner, lotion, and mouthwash. I suggest you check the excellent hotel website where you can find information on renting beach supplies, restaurant menus, trolley maps and schedules, and more. Overall we were very pleased with our stay at this hotel and would definitely return. It is only a little farther north than the Newport but superior in service and room quality. Granted the Newport wins with beach access, kiddie pool, and proximity to stores and restaurants but I would trade that off for a quiet, relaxing vacation at the Crowne Plaza. Loved it!

“I'll be back!”

Beautiful hotel, very large comfortable rooms. The pool area is beautiful as is the jacuzzi. The only minor difficulty was the travel from and to the airport. I live in Costa Rica, so when I go to the US I need to do some small shopping--Walmart is within walking distance.
