Location is good

Posted Aug 12, 2014
Location is great, right off the I95, bus stop in front hotel, easy access driving going downtown Miami or any other part ,hotel staff not helpful , breakfast was normal ( toast and omelette ) . Rooms very small though, hotel needs upgrading. If ur looking for a place just to sleep then it's ok , more or less ur always out enjoying the shopping or beaches.

Hell no don't use. It's the worst place I've ever seen. I grew up in the inner city but this place is a dump. Wouldn't recommend it toa homeless person. Expedia should discontinue using or referring this place. I checked in went to the room and checked out immediately. I was skeptical when I pulled up it's a straight dump from hell.

Close to shopping and interstate

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Affordable price - Most hotel staff were ok. There were a few rude ones. The hotel was conveniently located near the interstate and shopping centers; however, the train/Am trac came by almost every 30 minutes and honked their horn and you can hear it all through out the night.

Basic hotel accommodation

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Basic hotel accommodation which is quite dated. The room itself was clean, and fairly comfortable. Air conditioning worked but was noisy, bathroom was simple but clean. Fairly dark rooms. Noisy freight trains pass by over night on the train line next to the hotel. Pool looked nice but we didn't use it as it was just a stopover on our way to Orlando.

Needs to be renovated, staff is friendly but people were outside at all times of night. I didn't like that at all.

Hotel Ok, just a big problem

Posted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: Clean, big room, nice pool and very well located.
Cons: The internet....priority....and the elevator its too hot.
Location: The location is perfect if you plan to go shopping or the beach. Close to the airport and close to the port.
The hotel is what you can expect for what you pay. The staff are ok, the room is big and clean and got everything as advertised. Except for one important thing....the wireless internet. When I made the reservation (January) they offered wireless internet in all rooms. But now only works on the lobby, and the lobby its on a separated building from the hotel....and close at 10pm. So if you want to work at night...sorry..you cant. That was disappointing for me. The night manager offered me apologies and told me they are having big problems with the service provider and they are trying to change to another provider. But in the while, dont go there if you really need the internet and cannot work on a sofa of the lobby during the day. Beside that, the hotel is ok. Its not the best, its not the worst.

Ok, if you just need somewhere to stay

Posted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: the Kitchen staff was friendly
Cons: evreything needs improvement, the building, the rooms, the service staff need to be retrained in customer service, new TVs and beds in the rooms
Location: If you take public transportation and want to do shopping then Sawgrass Mills is just a bus ride away, Coral Springs & Galleria mall are two bus rides
Some of the hotel staff tried their best, however the facilities leave alot to be desired. The kitchen staff was friendly, not so much the front desk. Didnt really interact with the rest of the staff. If you can sleep through the train horns late at nights and early morning, then you should be ok. We found that the bed covers at cigarette burns, although it was a non-smoking room. The first night the room smelled like wet carpet, two bottles of fabreeze only helped somewhat. As I said, like me, if you just need somewhere to rest and dont mind the noise from the train, then for the price it is ok. Else you better look elsewhere for a more comfortable stay.

Out dated hotel located near the train tracks

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Location to highway, stores and that we had a microwave and fridge.
Cons: remove Wi-Fi and fitness room from description until available and hotel needs to be remodeled.
Location: Close to highway 95, Miami, Bayside. Boat tours, swap shops, seaquarium, jungle island
For the price we couldn't complain much but every morning we were woke up by a train . The facility did not have a workout area as indicated. They were in the process of converting a room into a workout facility but it was not available during our stay. We looked forward to swimming in the hotel pool until we read the sign that said "do not swallow the water as the water is recirculated". One of the rooms we booked had bugs and the cleaning staff was not polite at all, the toilet ran every night and we asked management several times to fix it and the shower drain which neither got fixed during our stay. The hotel site also indicated they had free Wi-Fi which we were not able to access, we were told it depends on what part of the building you were located in and that if you got a signal, there was no guarantee how long the signal would last.
