“Not impressed”

After staying here for over three years,you would have thought they could get it together.I was place in a smoky room,no micrwave,with bathroom full of mold.Then the phone was very dirty,hotel staff not very friendly.Placed in another unit,phone not operational.bathroom grout is very dirty,light in bathroom is very dirty,carpet,also needs to be cleaned.When asked for additional amenities,it seemed as if you had,asked them for a heart transplant.Will stay some-where else

“Good Hotel, Decent Price”

My room was spacious, included a fridge and microwave. Shower was clean, water hot. Bed comfortable. Air Conditioner worked well and not too noisy. The pool was clear and clean. Good location. 5 miles from airport. 10 miles to downtown Lauderdale, 15 miles to Miami. Beaches a couple of miles away. Will stay again.

Outdoors or beach

The famed Haulover Beach is about 10 miles south of the motel. Go after 5 for free parking, otherwise it's $6 per car. Umbrella rental is about $20 or more and they shut down at 5 anyway. Saturday is the busiest day.

“not impressed”

The area is not the best,,run down I would not bring children there.. The pool is very small. The room is tight. Too many closed businesses.

“Good for traveling alone or very short stay (1-3 nights)”

Good service on the front desk. The airline kept our luggage and ask to send it to the hotel. The hotel received the luggage and kept until we came back to the hotel. We request some gift to be delivered to the hotel address and it arrived safely. We were informed as soon as we came back to the hotel. Positive: Good price. Good front desk service (since i request to give a room with good wi fi signal, the guy suggested to change to a better room for the same rate. Nice and friendly roomservice personnel (a peruvian lady was very gently and kind). Plenty parking options. Close to I-95 Express Way. Negative: Breakfast area is basicaly the front desk itself (1 table) and breakfast itself is very poor. The blocks around seems not safe are at all if you wish to take a walk alone in the night. Even though whole stay was ok, next time i will review other option with a little more money probably.

“Way better than expected”

This hotel was way better than expected. The room was updated. Clean and comfortable beds. Nice clean and updated shower. Air conditioner was quiet and cooled the room fast. Staff was very informational and courteous.

“Convenient location, but....”

This hotel was in a good location for the trip we were doing, but I would gladly have driven further for a better hotel. We booked two rooms for two families traveling together. One room was nice and spacious and smelled fresh, the second was smaller and smelled musty. The area this hotel was in was not great. Price was okay, but not great for the quality of the hotel.

“Not impressed”

We stayed 2 nights, at first wished it was just one night for the convenience and price. We survived. Staff was ok. Place was fairly clean. There was a huge roach in the room we checked in originally, they changed our room and it was ok.

“Cute little hotel”

My wife and I stayed here 8 days after I had surgery. Although the bed was a little hard, it was still comfortable. The room was clean. The housekeeping staff was amazing, and worked around our little querks. There was a seperate dining area with a microwave and a mini fridge. The breakfast offered by the hotel was small, but it worked. The bathroom was very clean. The hotel did require a deposit for the safe key, but was returned when we checked out and returned the key. Everyone that we spoke to at the front was very helpful and was able to recommend many places to do some fun things. There is a little diner next to the hotel which both my wife and I were impressed by. Overall, I'm extreemely impressed with the hotel. I would stay there again, without hesitation.

Must see

The Miami Zoo is only about an hour away, and I was impressed with the zoo. The everglades are pretty close (about half hour). There are a few places that offer airboat rides through the everglades.
