It was the cheapest hotel that I could find, which offered a free airport shuttle.
You know that saying, "you get what you pay for"? Well...
First off, the place is a dump. It's in a safe area, so if you just need someplace to crash, don't worry about that, but it's nothing to look at and really nothing nearby except a few gas stations and a liquor store.
The toilet ran, but I was able to fix it, at least on the short term.
NO HOT WATER in the morning for my shower.
Secondly, the people who work there are crabby. When I called for my airport shuttle, the woman gave me incomplete directions and then hung up. I called back and she was able to explain.
In the morning, when I asked to confirm my shuttle back to the airport, the clerk at the desk was crabby. "I can't control the driver." I asked if the shuttle was confirmed for 11 AM. She said it was, but she couldn't control if he would be on time or not. Her tone made it clear that he often wasn't. Well, she was right in that regard. He was about 15 minutes late.
Depending on price, I think I'll stay somewhere else next time.
