“Excellent Value”
For a location so close to the beaches in the NE quadrant of FTL this hotel is a value id recommend anyone. The service was good, the room very clean, new/clean carpeting. Free WiFi... great value.
“The Name Says it All.”
It's an Econolodge. It was an economical place to lodge while in the Fort Lauderdale area. I was able to get a second floor room at the back of the hotel. I was surprised how quiet it was. The rooms are a little worn, but the bed was very comfortable. I stayed four nights and slept well each night and was not disturbed by other guests or hotel staff.
“OK”
The hotel was OK for a quick trip
“Good economical option”
Hotel was as expected for an economy hotel. The room was clean and quiet, the air conditioning worked, and the location was good. The air conditioning smelled a bit musty at first but wasn't a problem. The batteries for the card swipe for the door needed to be replaced but the staff corrected the problem quickly. For the price, I would stay here again.
“Better than a Motel”
I just needed to get away from my house for the night and this was the cheapest stay I could find since I live i nthe city and honestly its not so shabby for the price.
“Staying the night to party”
My friends and I stayed there because we needed to be close to Wilton Manors. It was an alright hotel. It was exactly what we paid for. We did see someone's missing shoe, we thought it couldn've been a prostitute that had to make a mad dash. We made a joke of it and had a good laugh. The hotel was fine and the rooms were alright.
“not a good choice”
I was going to Key West and had to sleep in Fort Lauderdale. It was too late and I decided to take a cheap hotel to sleep, so we chose the Econo Lodge. The lady at front desk was not so helpful but it might be expected due to that time (about 11pm). We got the room, put our stuffs and sleep. Next morning we need to take a shower and notice that there was no hot water on that room. I try to call the front desk but the phone was not working too. I had to walk up to front desk to tell what was happening. The guy was very friendly and gave me the key of the next door room. The room was a very worn and you can notice that everything is very old. If I had another chance to stay in Fort Lauderdale, even if it's only to sleep, I'd never stay in this hotel again.
“crm8721”
I specifically said when I booked my hotel that I did not want to stay in a dump. This is by far the worse place I have ever had to stay and would not recommend anyone spending a night there. If I had not pre-paid with Expedia, I would have not stayed there period. I did ask to go to another hotel and was told that I would not because my stay was pre-paid.
“Just a place to sleep”
This hotel is in a great location but the hotel itself is a complete dump. If your are just looking for a convenient place to sleep, it's fine. Don't expect much.... I would not stay here again.
“This hotel is AWFUL!!!!”
Filthy dilapitated room! Plaster breaking away around the tub! The room stunk like it hadn't been opened in months! I paid $10 more for a 4 star hotel 2 weeks before. This room was NOT worth the money I paid! Will never stay at Econolodge ever again! The only reason I never asked fore a refund or to move was because I was sick and didn't want the hassle.
