“Underprepared for full house”
Being near the cruise port, the Embassy should expect to be crowded on the nights before the ships leave. Knowing this, they were still understaffed during the manager's reception. They could have used a third bartender, or a separate line for wine/beer as I have seen in other Embassy Suites. Lines were long, and they ran out of food really early. About 45 minutes into the reception, they ran out of dip and, as far as we know after checking repeatedly, it was never replenished.
“mostly positive with a few quirks”
Room AC is very noisy, but room itself very clean and comfortable Breakfast preparers overwhelmed and it suffered as a result. Beautiful Atrium - loved the outdoor jacuzzi - staff very friendly.
“Awesome hotel. Crappy Internet.”
I had to pay a daily fee to use the internet, and once I paid and got connected... the Internet was slow and weird. I couldn't use my Chrome browser at all. I was unable to do much of anything productive while I was there. That said, the room we stayed in was beautiful. The open design of the entire building was original and wonderful. We loved the ambiance, appreciated the newspaper in front of the door in the morning, hot tub, excellent breakfast, etc. We would stay there again... as long as I didn't need to work from the room on the Internet.
“"Will stay there whenever Im in Ft. Lauderdale”
I reallly enjoyed the convenience and price of this hotel. It is just what we needed since we were catching the ship to the Carribean. I would like for you to get your own shuttle vans to the airport with the ease of looking for an Embassy Suite van. I will definitely stay there again and again.
“A amazing experience! Outstanding Staff!! Worth the money!!!”
A amazing experience! Outstanding Staff!!! Worth the money!!!!!
“Better than I expected....”
The hotel stay at the Embassy suites was near the Ft Lauderdale beach and eating places. I especially loved free drinks for happy hr and a big made to order hot free breakfast buffet for guest(it wasn't your average continental like other hotel's). The rooms were big, clean and cozy. Big money saver with the free drinks and breakfast.
“neutral”
Big hotel, convenient to cruise ship terminal. It is usually quite full during cruising high season and the hotel can be quite noisy at times.
“As convenient (nearby) as the Holiday Inn Express with similar prices, but with more to offer!!”
The only fault I had with the room was that the big sliding door that opened out onto the balcony was very dirty. Aside from that, the staff were incredibly helpful and polite, Room service was also great and I didn't expect to find that sort of service with those prices!
“"Won't hesitate to go back"”
Beautiful hotel..free breakfast buffet and made to order omletes exceptional..we always try to stay at embassy suites if possible..would definitly reccommend it..
“Affordable and Luxurious”
The room was great-very spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool area and sauna and had a wonderful dinner in the restaurant. The complimentary morning buffet was outstanding. The following night we checked into a Sheraton (spending nearly double!) and were totally disappointed we hadn't booked another Embassy Suite.
