Perfect hotel between Airport and cruise ship termPosted Feb 2, 2014
Pros: The staff was so professional and caring from the moment that we arrived until we left which we did not want to do.
Cons: When the maid came in to clean the room we had 2 dirty plates and an empty pizza box and she left it in the room otherwise everything else was great.
Location: Ft. Lauderdale SE 17th street: Water taxi is the best couple of hours that you can spend very informative about homes, yachts, and restaurants.
Being taken to the ships dock and being picked up as well as taking us to the Airport at 0530 am was outstanding. They are also very knowledgeable about the water taxi and other activities to be seen while there. It is amazing that you can find a hotel that offers a free breakfast and cocktail hour for its guest. We were so impressed that we joined the HHonors program and will stay no where else if possible.

Nice property and location but needs some work!Posted Jan 20, 2014
Pros: Loved the Koi pond, pool, and surrounding plants. Breakfast was good. Location is great.
Cons: Better room maintenance. For example, TV remote did not work and toilet had a spot. Also parking should be free.
Location: Many restaurants and stores were near by, including a Publix supermarket. Also the cruise terminal is very close.
I was there with my family for one night. We loved the Koi fish pond and the large pool with luscious garden. The breakfast was great specially the made-to-order omelet. We had a couple of issues with the room though. The TV remote was missing battery cover and did not work. The toilet had a black spot at the top and we couldn't tell if they didn't brush it or it was some stain (not the kind of thing you want to see in a bathroom!). On the positive side, we liked having two rooms (bedroom + living room) in the suite. Also liked the 3 sinks (one in bathroom and two outside). The hotel had a working fridge, two TVs, and couch that converted into a bed. The two beds themselves were on the small side (full and we are used to king's size). One thing I did not like is the $20 per night parking fee! If you have a car, you might as well add that to your room rate for the real daily rate of your stay!
