Extended Stay America Fort Lauderdale - Deerfield Beach

Clean rooms, with a light breakfast included. My only complaint was that the AC unit was a little loud. Everything worked good, TV cable offered a good variety of channels.

We stayed 2 times for 1 night each time. We were travelling through the area and needed accommodations that were conveniently located to our route. The hotel and room met our expectations and has the benfiet of being close to I-95 with a restaurant next door. Obviously we would stay here again.

Most of the Front Desk staff were a bit surly. One young man was quite nice and helpful. We were there for 4 nights and all the others seemed quite put out to answer any questions. A bit of service friendly training might be in order for the group.

Pictures were deceiving!! Check in time is 3 pm and we arrived at 3 and was told room won't be ready for another hour! And I asked to use a restroom and was told there wasn't one available , only in the room!! No restroom in lobby! What kind of hotel doesn't have a restroom in the lobby! Unacceptable! When we finally got into our room, there was a musty smell throughout the carpet and actually was also throughout the hallway! It was so bad we had to go buy airfreshener and still did not help at all. The cookware were still dirty and not clean from before, there were some dishwashing liquid but no sponge. There was only one bowl .. And we booked for 4 people in a room, not enough silverware and bowls or cups for everyone. They say it was newly renovated but does NOT look like it. Breakfast bar was mediocre at most. On website they say they have bagels and pastries but they had none. Only coffee , fruits and muffins. Overall experience was absolutely horrible and full of disappointment, will never return again!

I got surprised in the good sense. No luxury, but extremely practical! intelligent house keeping and cleaning only after 5 days of stay is for organized guests, but not a problem with that. Grab and go breakfast at the front desk works fine and you can always ask for replacements if needed. The hotel was revitalized and looks great!

My stay was excellent. Although the rooms were kind of small, they were still very clean, and as spacious enough for my bridesmaids to get ready in. Even the elevators smelled nice. Had bananas, cereal and oatmeal type breakfast, which did the job needed. Overall would def recommend. :)
